Great game, great graphics and very challenging in that old school shooter way. Worth getting a twin stick controller for!
Really awesome twin stick shooter! It's a bit Ikaruga, a bit Nuclear Throne, but with a lot of great ideas and features of its own. Fast paced arcade action from the get-go. Great graphics and VFX, too.
A real challenge, but worth it. I was drawn in by the Ikaruga/Smash TV style game play and I am not disappointed. Looks gorgeous. Rock hard! A twin-stick classic - Recommended!
Intense twin-stick rogue-like. Fast-paced, and intended for people with good twitch skills. Polarity (aka. color) is used to apply greater damage to oppositely-colored foes - and the game routinely throws both colored foes at you at the same time. You take less-or-no damage from enemy fire matching your color - but bumping into any enemy will damage you, regardless of the polarity. Killing various enemies allows you to pick up energy to improve your weapon, but the dropped energy only last a few seconds, meaning that a lot of it disappears before you can spare a thought to grab it while trying to stay alive. Still, weapon power, fire rate and number of projectiles improve as you collect energy. Absorbing same-color enemy fire is used to charge up your weapon, which allows an infrequent special attack. As you play multiple games, unlocks will reveal a few new avatars (each with slightly different stats) and arenas. Apparently, I suck at this. My attempts typically only last a minute or two, and the frustration wears thin after 15 minutes of playing. Still, I *do* keep coming back for several reasons, one of which is that I don't have to reserve an hour of real-life time just to play a single game. My one complaint is that the game feels a little thin. I believe the dev is still working on it, so there may be more content/features in the future, but you'll experience most of what the game has to offer in only a few hours.

This is a good twin stick game .The graphics are sharp and the game runs well the survival mode is great .Well worth a shout.
It's OK
Twin ruin is a neat, little high score chasing game. Graphics are good. Controls, movement, aiming and gunplay feel good, and I have no complaints. It doesn't seem like a very long game outside of score chasing (I unlocked the few characters and stages in an hour). Your weapon gradually gets stronger as you kill enemies on a run,. and there are minor random upgrades you can pick up. Which feels similar to a roguelike but it isn't one. I would've liked that - significant random upgrades like spread shot, explosive bullets, etc to change up each run. But that's just my preference and not a criticism to the game. Overall fun game and well worth the price.
This is excellently made; the graphics are solid, it runs smoothly, and the core mechanics of the game so well implemented and engaging. I would agree with the majority of reviews, that it's light on on content, but that's reflected in the price, so I don't see it as a major point to hold against the game; Twin Ruin's gameplay is so sound that I simply want more of it.
Fun little twin stick shooter. Game play is solid, if it can be a little hard to see what's going on at times. But that's fairly standard for these types of games. Worth a look if you enjoy the genre.
