* A free key of the game was given to me. Even so, that didn’t affect my opinion of the final product. Twin Blue Moons is a short yuri (girl x girl) romance/adventure visual novel by ArcusPlume. From my brief [strike]stalking[/strike] research on this group, it seems that there's only a Finnish digital artist called kuroha238 that's part of it. Meaning that this game was made entirely by one person. Honestly, that's amazing. There are so many groups that barely can make a functional game, and this one developer was able to make a simple and enjoyable little visual novel with nice features. Our main protagonist is a young mage called Maya; she has a strong personality and tends to get lost in her own imagination. Her older sister, Nami, brings her to a remote forest, and soon Maya finds herself exploring the surroundings and making new friends whilst trying to unravel the mysteries of that unknown place and its inhabitants. TBM has a large mythology behind the main story, there's even a "mini wiki" inside the game in order to explain the major elements with greater details. This game felt a bit too short for so much content, in my opinion. It took me around 4 hours to read all the endings. Hopefully, there will be a sequel someday or a spin-off, in order to expand this universe. My favorite character was Kinoko, the alchemist. Her design caught my attention and I love her "mushroom design". My least favorite character was Nyanko and her dialogues with Maya were kind of cringy. I actually have a lot to say about the technical details of this visual novel. The art style looks very amateur (of course I could be wrong, this is only my personal opinion) together with the coloring, but I can honestly see this artist getting a lot better with some more practice. The backgrounds were pretty and very detailed, but like user Dramatical Noiz said, there were so many details that it ended up being too much happening on the screen. BGM was alright, the developer chose good songs to play along with the story. They weren't enough catchy though. The game also has a "smartphone" in it, where you can select options like maps, wiki, and even an online chatting app to talk to your friends. That feature was very interesting! I also enjoyed the fact that there's an ending list inside the game. The only thing that could've been improved was the main menu since it's very plain and simple. TBM also has 10 different endings and 15 achievements, and over 25 choices to make. 6/10. If you're in the mood to read a fantasy yuri game, Twin Blue Moons can be a good choice. The artwork can be amateur, but the game is certainly way better than some "professional" VNs out there.
Twin Blue Moons is a wonderful fantasy visual novel. I wish I'd played it much earlier. That was a beautiful relaxing experience. The game features bright, kinda unique-looking art. At first, I didn't find it too attractive, but admitted it was a pleasant visualization of the story. Gradually it grew on me. Now I can say art fits that magical, dreamy world ideally. And music is very fitting for that ambiance as well. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760519675 This novel gives us a nice opportunity to dive into a bright, interesting world of magic and dreams. It's not that mushy as it may seem from the first glance but, you know, the story gave that feeling of a fairy-tale where some conflicts and war may occur but you are totally sure that the good will inevitably be victorious. Dunno, kinda hard to explain, especially when there're about ten endings including bad ones. But still they were of that type that didn't make me sad, only inspired to try again and reach that planned happy end. There's a prologue, 4 chapters=4 days and different epilogues. You need to play through all routes to get all puzzles of the story. It's not very complicated to get all achievements, choices hint to what chars they'll lead. But if you struggle anyway there's a guide on steam. By the way, choices are very frequent, I love such highly interactive stories. The list of endings was very impressive. I mean both how they were called and organized in the game. Some endings=plot twists are hilarious. In general, writing is funny, I was constantly smiling. Though the whole game ended a bit abruptly. When all routes are played through you get a more fulfilling picture but that lore, neatly presented in encyclopedia, is magnificent. Being rather short the game feels very deep, it deserves the tag 'story rich'. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760421751 It's a yuri game, with only female characters. But the main focus is on magical story and not on romantic relationships. There're some peculiar, really interesting characters. The protagonist is very appealing as well. Writing is enjoyable and English is rather good, only three hyphens instead of two [---] and [….] were slightly eye-catching and there was “a couple a couple” of typos xD One of the proofs that the story and writing are good is when you want to make screenshots not only of attractive CGs but also of so many text slides, just because the ideas expressed there are nice and related to you, or even simply because sentences are so smoothly written that you can't help but enjoy it. Really a nice beautiful read. Definitely recommended, even if you are not a yuri genre fan, like me. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760632204 The only little things I could slightly complain about: --Save slots. I wish they were bigger to actually see what is saved there. --No backlog, no opportunity to read the previous text in Wiki encyclopedia. Totally not that important, sorry for nitpicking, just couldn't help but notice it. According to credits, art, story and programming was made just by one and the same person. I'm always greatly impressed when I see such games. Some people are talented indeed! My huge respect! I'd like to see more games created by this developer. I really enjoyed this pretty story. If you want to play some short but bright and a bit bizarre visual novel, this game would be a great pick! It's not very expensive and right now it has a very good discount. One more reason to grab it!

[th]Find more in a Reading Nook [/th]

A short visual novel about ... uh, dreams? Magic? Shapeshifters? Yuri? The story is a bit convoluted, to be honest. Regardless, I still liked it. Reading the in-game Wiki info helps though. The art is very colorful, with favoritism toward pink and purple hues. It can look a bit awkward and amateur-ish at times, but it's still interesting and captivating. The writing is decent. I only came across a couple of typos. The whole story concept is quite imaginative and unique. Despite there being some yuri ("girl love") themes in the game, I wouldn't necessarily think of this as a romance VN, considering it doesn't actually involve love, but physical attraction only. Although there are butterflies in the story, the yuri parts of the story don't actually elicit any "butterflies" for the player. Regardless, it was still worth the read and enjoyable. Recommended to VN fans.
a good Visual Novel. I recommend it. some answer options to choose. sweet girls. some girls wearing supercool clothes. graphic is good. the price of this short game is in offer for -70% good.
This is one of those Ren'Py Visual Novels that deserves a nod. It's well written, has a good sound track and graphics and very much custom gui. Looking forward to future games.
This game is so cute, I like the art and the characters a lot.
Twin Blue Moons is a visual novel about a young mage name Maya, who just moved to a new place and is now having strange dreams. That seem all too real. With Yuri moments scattered here and there. Apparently, to read someone's mind you need a 10 minute make out session. I'm not complaining. The story overall is not very long it took me about 5 hours to get all the endings. The lore in the story is original and interesting, so much so I kinda wish the story was longer. Art I have mixed feelings about while the imagination to make unique characters is there and the art is very bright and colorful, the artist is clearly not a professional. Though I can see them becoming a great artist in the future with more practice. Backgrounds while alone look very detailed and nice when combined with the character sprites everything just ends up being visually too much. I think the background should be toned down a little so not so much is happening on screen. The music compliments the game's story and art style and is very nice to listen to. Sometimes in Visual novels, I mute the game, but not here. I actually liked listening to the music. Overall, I enjoyed it and recommend it to other Yuri fans interested in a good story.
《Twin Blue Moons》
Not sure why there's a nudity tag when I'm playing a bath scene and all they show is a woman's facial graphic with shoulders in an empty bathroom. Dialogue drags badly too. Maybe I should play longer but I feel Time Tenshi spoiled me badly.
