pretty nice game.
Fun but the quests can get a bit repetitive. Generally the game doesn't really pose much of a challenge but its a nice easy distraction for a few hours if that's what you're looking for.
It has nice art, but that's all it seems to have going for it. Grindfest. Little to no reward. Reviews suggest you don't get to meet the character of whom the player char gives up immortality for.

Twilight City: Love as a Cure is a supernatural adventure developed by Meridian’93 and published by Fulqrum Publishing that blends hidden-object gameplay, point-and-click exploration, and light survival mechanics into a moody romantic narrative. Set in the shadowy city of Skylight, the game centers on a young vampire desperate to free herself from the curse that threatens both her humanity and her relationship with the man she loves. It is a story built around longing, sacrifice, and the constant struggle between instinct and affection, framed within a cityscape that feels both haunting and intimate. The narrative premise is the game’s strongest hook. Rather than focusing on grand-scale vampire politics or large supernatural conflicts, the story remains personal. The protagonist’s primary motivation is not domination or survival alone, but love—the hope of reclaiming a normal life and preserving her relationship with a human partner. This emotional core gives context to the exploration and tasks that follow. As players progress through the city, interacting with its inhabitants and uncovering clues about a possible cure, the tension between romance and monstrosity remains ever-present. The internal battle against bloodlust serves as both a literal and symbolic obstacle, reinforcing the stakes behind every quest undertaken. Gameplay revolves around exploring various districts of Skylight and completing a mix of hidden-object scenes, item-based puzzles, and quest objectives. Unlike traditional hidden-object games that confine players to static backdrops, Twilight City integrates these sequences into a broader map-based progression system. Players move between locations, gathering resources, solving small environmental challenges, and advancing story threads. Some objectives are straightforward, while others require revisiting areas after unlocking new tools or information. The hidden-object scenes themselves are functional and clearly presented, though they are only one component of the overall experience rather than its sole focus. A unique aspect of the design is its inclusion of survival-oriented elements. Managing resources and completing certain tasks can feel like navigating daily life in a hostile environment. This structure creates a slower, methodical rhythm rather than a fast-paced adventure flow. While this deliberate pacing supports the atmospheric tone, it may not satisfy players expecting tightly layered puzzle complexity. Instead, the game leans into repetition as part of its loop, reflecting the ongoing struggle of existence under a curse. Visually, Twilight City embraces a gothic aesthetic with darkened streets, dimly lit interiors, and detailed backgrounds that emphasize the city’s supernatural undercurrent. The art direction favors mood over realism, creating an environment that feels melancholic and immersive. Character models and portraits serve their narrative purpose without elaborate animation, and the environments often carry more personality than the cast itself. The soundtrack complements this approach with subdued, somber melodies that reinforce the emotional weight of the protagonist’s quest. However, extended play sessions can make certain musical loops feel repetitive. The pacing is intentionally reflective, allowing dialogue exchanges and exploration sequences to unfold without urgency. This measured structure can enhance immersion for players who appreciate narrative-heavy adventures. The game prioritizes atmosphere and storytelling over intricate mechanical challenge, which shapes its appeal. Those drawn to romantic supernatural dramas will likely find satisfaction in its thematic focus, while players seeking intricate puzzle systems or dynamic gameplay variety may find the experience somewhat restrained. Ultimately, Twilight City: Love as a Cure presents itself as a story-driven adventure with a strong emotional premise. Its blend of hidden-object mechanics, quest-based exploration, and atmospheric presentation creates a distinctive identity within the genre. Though its gameplay systems may not push boundaries, the sincerity of its narrative and the consistent gothic tone offer a cohesive and immersive journey. For players who value mood, romance, and introspective supernatural storytelling over mechanical complexity, it delivers a quietly compelling experience centered on the enduring hope that love can overcome even a vampire’s curse. Rating: 6/10
Love this game as a kid and still do. Very few games offer medieval Gothic fashion outfits and furniture options for your own castle's apartment.
It's basically just a clicker, but it's good for a few hours of distraction.
Atmosphere.
