I really like this game! As someone who wants to pursue marine biology, this is really fun and right up my alley! It's nice that you're able to see what kind of fish you have and whether they're endangered or not. I do with that I would be able to have free range to rotate items however I want. In a certain build, I want to have starfish on the sides of pillars and rocks along it nautilus shells. It would also be cool if I could move my camera around like you would in the sims. I think this is a SUPER cute game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to customize and build along with those who enjoy marine biology or any kind of ocean themed game! :D

The game can be approached in either Discovery or Sandbox mode. The main difference is that Sandbox gives you complete freedom over everything the game has to offer, including placing fish, while Discovery feels more like you are working toward something and never quite know what you will find next. Either way, both modes revolve around creating a reef and attracting different types of fish. A reef is a rectangular 3D space, similar to an aquarium, where you can place anything you like without worrying about resources or currency. You simply choose from four categories, corals, grass, rocks, and miscellaneous objects, each containing several items, and click to place them. Even though you cannot swim around the space and can only observe it from one side, this does not limit where you place items. You can position them in the background, the foreground, or somewhere in the middle of the water. Physics are quite loose, so objects do not sink or float naturally. This can look a bit odd at times, especially when parts of a shipwreck or large boulders appear to hover between the surface and the bottom. There are three biomes available, but aside from a few unique items, they do not feel very different from one another. In Discovery mode, the goal is to attract every possible fish species for the selected biome. This does not require anything beyond patience, since you can place as many or as few elements as you want. I was not entirely sure whether fish appearances depend on the time of day, even though you can adjust it manually, so I simply let the day cycle run naturally. You can take a closer look at every fish in your reef by clicking the magnifying glass icon, which allows you to scroll through them without searching manually. One of the more engaging aspects of the game is the built in encyclopedia. Each fish comes with detailed information, including its Latin name, average size, habitat, and conservation status. Whenever you discover a new fish, an exclamation mark appears on the encyclopedia icon. In the end, there is not much in terms of traditional gameplay. It works best as something you leave running in the background while gradually unlocking everything. All achievements can be earned within a few hours, with only a couple requiring specific item placements to attract hidden animals. My main criticism is performance. The game tends to slow down when too many items are placed, eventually becoming uncomfortable to run. Since there is no quick way to remove multiple objects at once, everything has to be deleted manually, which can be frustrating, especially when items overlap or end up partially embedded in the environment.

A wonderful little game full of cozy relaxing vibes! The music is very soothing and once I got the hang of how objects were placed it all really clicked. In sandbox mode you can even control what fish are there, so if you love a certain kind you can have nothing but those. It allows you to make a nice space for yourself and to then have as a cozy little background thing on your pc to watch or vibe to as you work. I'll def be running this in the background while I do my art that's for sure. The dev team was also just 3 people who put this together in a year and have been keen to get feedback and suggestions for the game for things to implement in the future or tweak, means allowing. I like the feeling of having an aquarium that would change over interactions and time: unlocking new fishes is pretty fast, some species need specials conditions to spawn and when you place a rock, bubbles go up, fishes go blupblup. [i]"Fish-tre"[/i] ! That's cool
