This is a fun little game. You take in injured monsters and have to cure whatever is wrong with them ranging from frozen to on fire to "dead". You then put them in the backyard and let them heal up and increase their happiness too. Might need to pet them a little for the happiness so they don't attack other monsters. And that's the rotation. Now with that, there are a few things that make the game less fun than it should be. First off, running very often doesn't work. You'll hold the run button down but it only runs when you are moving the camera. Otherwise you just walk as normal. This bug seriously needs fixing as it is EXTREMELY annoying. And second, you can only hire 1 "register" helper. They will check in monsters and take them to the station they are needing and pick up "healed" monsters to give back to customers picking up. But they are slow and you need more than 1 as you need to do the healing and playing with monsters. So you then need to man a 2nd register to keep the line from going out the door which removes from your ability to actually heal and take care of the monsters.
Played the Demo and was enjoying it, now the full game is so much better and seems to have taken on the feedback from the demo. Love playing this game my now new comfort game.
A fun little timewaster, at least at the beginning. Towards the end of the tech tree you have significantly less to do, and waiting for the reputation and money to build up to get the last few upgrades is incredibly tedious. A tentative recommendation; it's fine for what it is, but in my opinion it could do with some quality of life upgrades. - The sparkling spot when petting monsters can be inaccessible on monsters with larger models, or with things like bigger noses - The sparkling spot can also be difficult to see on lighter coloured monsters - The monsters and your employees have an uncanny habit of standing directly in the way (and refusing to move) when you're trying to place a piece of furniture - The fences could benefit from a snapping grid system, or at least a half-size fence piece - At around the midway point, the monsters stopped dropping monster parts entirely, so I couldn't hatch any more eggs - I'm probably not the target audience for a player housing part of the game, but the part of the centre you can decorate as your apartment is almost entirely pointless. I just put my hatching machine up there and mostly forgot about it - The gates and fences could do with some invisible barriers above them to stop toys from getting thrown into fenced off parts - The tennis ball has a habit of disappearing and reappearing at the delivery point outside the care centre - Sometimes when opening a lot of boxes with equipment in, the items that don't appear in the hotbar disappear. They're supposed to get dropped on the ground, but they just disappear, wasting money, and requiring them to be re-ordered - There really needs to be more light sources
As of writing this review, there are some bugs and glitches, but nothing game breaking. The game is very fun and cosy, and it basically boils down to playing as a Nurse Joy-like character who's taking care of creatures in a care centre, ala a Pokémon Centre. There's not too many creatures, but the ones that do exist have alternative colour schemes. I do believe this game has potential to grow into a much larger game than it currently is with a few more features, more monsters, more decorations, and more ways to tend and heal injured monsters. Performance is flawless, I've had no frame drops that I've seen since starting the game. Graphics are set to medium by default, but can be turned up to high easily. The friend I was playing this game with was running it off of a USB HDD and their performance was also flawless. If you want a Pokémon-esque game where you play as Nurse Joy, this is the game for you. Fun game, would highly recommend.
it is .............................. THE BEST
Monster Care Simulator is an amazingly adorable up and coming creature collector/management sim mix that I have been looking for! Every update yet has shown that this game will only get better and better in time. The Dev/Dev Team are very communicative and truly care about this cute game. Playing solo and with friends has been a good time!
очень мило и круто
Lovely game, it has lots of monsters and the management aspects are fun. I recommend it for lovers of creature collector and management games!
