Reviews
This game reminded me of the original legend of zelda when I booted it up. The difficulty of the game varies throughout. I would argue that a few of the early game moments are harder than the midgame. However, the endgame is genuinely very challenging. I was able to find most of the achievements on my own, but there is a fetch quest that had me look up where to go to solve the puzzles. Overall, I would give Tunic a solid 8/10. I loved the music and art. The gameplay was overall fun, but sometimes I found myself getting frustrated with the parry and dodgeroll.

Tunic is a short, finely-crafted game. I probably spent half my time getting through the main content, and the other half solving puzzles
, eventually leading to the better ending
. The fighting wasn't very good, but the authors do include an option to make it easier so people can concentrate on exploration and puzzles. Even with the option on, the last big battles are a challenge (though maybe not one for a hard-core gamer). The included game manual was a cool feature, not only in nostalgic style, but because it actually helped get through the game
and was necessary for puzzle completion
. I can see why it might be a turn-off for some people, considering it's written in a fantasy language, but many of the game mechanics are common enough that you don't need to actually read the text. Overall, the game is a bit expensive for the main content. But worth it when you consider the unique puzzles that extend the game. And the manual was very carefully designed to serve its role, both in-game and as a work of art.
I beat this game on Xbox game pass, years ago. it on humble atm, so i thought ill get it. and play it again on Steam, Am Glad i Did, I forgot how much I injoy this Game
Det er VILD godt!
TUNIC is like if Blue Prince and A Link to the Past had a child. An incredible package of puzzles which stretch the mind to its limits bundled in a classic "Action Adventure" style. Thoroughly loved the game.
ZERO SPOILERS (not done yet myself) this game is truly amazing, it itches my brain in ways ive never felt before, please give it a real chance i mean it. you cant regret it.a
Came into this thinking it was going to be like Zelda, then I realized it's just an extremely unresponsive top-down dark souls with none of the satisfaction of playing an actual souls game and the increasingly annoying gimmick of the instruction manual. So glad I didn't pay full price for this.
