What a cool experience this game was. Feels like there's something for everyone here, combat and puzzles can be as hard as you want them to be, graphics are charming and finding out the small secrets to progress makes this a really great game overall.

buen juego
i want to love this but the boss design is not working for me. everything else is wonderful.

Mixed feeling about this game. A Zelda-like and Souls-like game should be exactly my type of game, but it left a slightly bad taste in my mouth after finishing the game after 9.5 hours. It all boils down to: - Bosses are very spongy, their AI often breaks if backed into a corner - Very few weapons and upgrades. I think there are only 5 perma upgrades, 2 meelee weapons (one of them being borderline unusable) and a handful of spells. - Puzzles are made for toddlers - Combat in general is very basic, single attack button. Then you can either dodge or block. That's it. Still enjoyable, love the instruction booklet, the artstyle and the exploration.
CONTRADICTION ! The best way NOT to make a game : cute design with punitive mechanics EVERYWHERE : hidden main pathways from game start, strong enemies with 3 different mechanics on level one. I get the cryptic language choice, i think it is the best part of the game, with the art direction. Difficulty curve is why this game never blossomed to a larger audience (and never will) : Devs thoughts they were really bright. Elite. We are SO FAR WAY from why Nintendo is so good at making games.
