this game very clearly is a "ddlc wannabe" game. is is not as good as ddlc but i think its just because you really cant beat the original. if i played this game before ddlc i would honestly be impressed with the overall game because at the end it had a nice story and cure charecters. the only thing i liked less is having to see the dialog everytime i died again but overall a very cute game. (also can kinda teach basic chess)

Everyone who's trash-talking this game are nerds actually expecting chess gameplay from the hit website chess.com. But seriously? The game's story is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane, and that's what's fun about it. This for me ticked the fun-bad category perfectly, while still having themes that are serious and a gripping plot. If the developer meant all of it in complete seriousness, then I apologize. I guess interpretation lies in the eyes of the beholder. However, I genuinely had a blast. And the game has actually amazing background art, a banger soundtrack, and some interesting gameplay elements, albeit most of them are either poorly implemented or are being used maybe like once, "without" mentioning that "choice" is a negligible concept, since all paths lead to Rome.

Don't waste your time and money. Probably just a scam, it has just enough gameplay to lock it from being refundable, and the quality is the equivalent to digging a hole with a spoon. I really did want to like it, but it being just a vomit version of DDLC, with Future Diary mixed in with it made it hard to even engage and be immersed. The only part I liked was the chess part, otherwise it was all utter trash.

Complicated copy of DDLC, some characters' personality is from DDLC too. I liked the differences like usable items and fighting though.

If you're expecting to play this game and to learn chess alongside some badass anime ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, don't hold your breathe. While it has chess in the title it does not have anything to do with chess besides teaching you only three basic elements of chess. I won't spoil it, but I do like the story overall; however, this game provides the illusion of choice meaning you do not really have a say in the overall progression of the game's story even though you as the player are supposed to be the "chaotic" factor to drive the story forward. I won't say anything else besides what's above to avoid spoilers for the people interested, but had I not purchased this game on sale I would dive a lot deeper into the criticisms of this game as there are many element that could be improved on that simply were not upon the time I had played this, such as the CHESS element that isn't touch on after day 3.

Too much boars, not enough chess. Ending sucked. Needed more future diary terrorist lady. Random ♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat. This was worse than I was expecting, I don't want a refund of my money but of my time.

I was expecting to play Chess but instead I got Mirai Nikki. Not only the character designs, but the survival game, the phones, the loops and the yandere aesthetics remembers it. The dialogs are poor, characters who barely know you start trauma dumping, you can't build any meaningful connection. All the girls turn into psychopaths for no reason. You have very little choice in things that matter a lot. The fighting mechanic is bad and comes out of nowhere. And the worse part: there is no chess.
