The English subtitles make no sense! Not a little bit! There's a character who might be your brother or a love interest who got a sex change, but I genuinely don't know if this game is that progressive or just has terrible subtitles. I think someone is a cam girl, maybe, or a prostitute. I don't know. Also you have a friend and he's either broken into your house or you've broken into his, but I don't think anybody really cares. Also it just starts! There aren't exactly menus. And it's fast! I've never seen subtitles disappear that quick! It's also fast in that I'm at the end of day 2 in 20 minutes. This game needs time. A lot of time.

This is the first romance FMV i do NOT recommend. This game has many issues let me tell you about them and save you from wasting your money: 1. The English subtitels are bad. Some choices make 0 sense. 2. The game has no storyboard and forces you to replay the entire game just to get a diffrent few second long ending and you can not change any choice and are stuck with what you choose. 3. The game has a gay male character that no matter how hard you try you can not avoid entirely. The game FORCES you to have interactions with him if you want to or not. Disgusting. 4. The game has no replayability as everything will be the same. You will not visit diffrent locations. There are only minor dialogue changes and the endings when you chosoe a girl are only a few seconds long and therefore not fullfilling. 5. The game is short you can finish a run in roughly 1.5 hours. 6. The video quality is not the best. 7. Hunting down achievements is tedious. Not only do you not have a storyboard but also the skippable scenes take a few seconds to skip and to laod so it takes quite some time just to skip and click your way through the game. The story is structured always the same you chat with 2 people on your phone by exchanging 2 messages and then you meet up with the one for whom you choose the heart option. You then have 3 interactions with them where you choose from 3 answers each time. After that you go back to your phone repeat till you get forced to meet up with the gay character at least 2 times and then choose one ending. Another playthrough will NOT allow you to get more scenes with any of the girls only a few seconds of an ending. Positive: Xu Xuanxuan and Lian Meng are very cute. I also like Lin Wan and i am sure some people will prefer the teacher though i think she is bland and not as good as the mature choice in other games. Even as a hardcore FMV fan i can not recommend this game. Only buy it if you are bored and finished all other FMV games you can get your hands on.

The game has promise at a basic level, but the English translations are absolutely horrific. It's like walking through a minefield of obscure choices that don't help you pick a particular path, either over the phone or in person. So, I winged it through one session, made many mistakes, and plugged along anyway.

After I have completely finished love simulation games like Love is All Around完蛋！我被美女包圍了！, Tomorrow’s Love Puzzle拜托！明天和我戀愛吧, Proud to Love自豪！美女全攻略 and Seduction of Beauty别跑！美女在追你！ (from Epic Games), I think it’s fair to say I’m qualified to make an informed judgment on the playability of “TryAndLove”. The worst part of the game design is that it requires players to replay the game FROM THE BEGINNING every time just to see different endings; this is very very frustrating to players in general. I know game developers have their reasons for designing the game this way but I must say this may not be an ideal approach to encourage players to spend more time on the game. Other simulation games provide route maps / story development charts, allowing players to change decisions at certain points of the whole story. It is very difficult for players to understand why this game has to do it differently.

慎入❗ 这个男性朋友真挺烦的很gay，感觉作者是想让这个角色增加点娱乐效果。但是玩这种游戏的都是老色批直男，直男对这个挺反感觉得挺恶心的。选角也不太行，制作这种游戏胆子一定要大。

Is a decent FMV, but having to restart the game all over from scratch again to get to different endings is just so tedious. It should have typical route systems like other FMVs.

I'll try to be as respectful with this review as possible. This game is certified monkey ass. The translations seem as if they were made by a blind monk. There was no romance in this game at all, also what is the memories tab. I CANT UNDERSTAND A SINGLE THING IN 80% OF THIS GAME.

Lian Meng is Waifu. I am reviewing this game after an English update, the conversation text is pretty understandable and decent now, but some of the choices and especially phone conversations are still pretty dang scuffed English-wise. This can be made a little more awkward given you can't actually go back and change your choices. That said, I have definitely seen worse indie FMV games. The endings are good, and the cinematography is actually not awful, although the UX design could use a bit of work, given that it doesn't really have a main menu nor any of the other normal features other FMV games sport like leaderboards or character overview profiles. I actually kind of enjoyed some of the uniqueness of not being able to easily go back and redo choices, as it made me have to live with some of the consequences and see which girls I could actually rizz. Speaking of Rizz, our MC has no job beyond being a professional rizzler, he is meeting like 4 women a day, holy cow. At first it felt a little disjointed and weird, but this game does actually have decent length to it (A good 2 hours at least for a single run) and you get used to its story telling relatively quickly. I know some people are upset about there being a gay character pursuing you. It doesn't particularly bother me because he is relatively easy to avoid and friend-zone, just be aware that in phone conversations the choice with a heart will make you meet them next. And for some people the character may be a good feature! I think this game with a little extra English polish would actually be worth its asking price, and if you are an FMV enthusiast I think you can still definitely enjoy this game if you get it on sale.
