Reviews
It's decent. It lacks the soul, charm, and personality of Tropico 4. The radio announcements and music are watered down from previous levels of catchy songs and humor, but the game is decent as a standalone. If you have to pick just one, go to the 1st one or the 4th one and skip this round.
This is a downgrade from Tropico 4 in almost every single way imaginable.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

☑ NOTE FINALE : 66/100

good game and fun
There are parts of this game, especially the Dynasties and upgrading El Pres & Fam, that make this my favorite tropico of all. It does have the occasional bug (like WSAD seems to stop working to move the cam), but is ultimately great. Tropico 6 has a far improved Political Almanac and UI. This is definitely one of my favorite games of all time.
This one works in Linux too. So it's cool to be the most corrupted dictator ever as long as it's in a game.
