Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great 1950s atmosphere, good soundtrack.
Fajnie, że możesz być Fidelem, ale graficznie to era 2003 roku. Screeny są bardzo podrasowane jakościowo. W grze to grafika z ery retro...
🌍 Tropico 4 - El Presidente Never Retires
What I Played: I've been playing Tropico since the original came on a disc back in the day, and this series has had its hooks in me ever since. Tropico 4 is where I really lost myself though — 124 hours of building banana republics, rigging elections, and trying to keep both the US and USSR happy while pocketing foreign aid. I've played through the campaign twice and spent way too many nights in sandbox mode telling myself "just one more building." The Good:

The campaign is genuinely fun this time around. Each mission throws a new disaster or political crisis at you — volcanoes, tsunamis, cold war drama — and it keeps things from ever feeling like you're just placing buildings on repeat. Coming from Tropico 1 where it was mostly sandbox, having actual storylines with characters felt like a massive upgrade.
The humor is spot on. Your advisors are hilarious, the radio DJ never gets old, and the whole tongue-in-cheek dictator vibe is something no other city builder even attempts. Penultimo alone is worth the price of admission.
Building placement and island management just feels right. There's a satisfying loop of figuring out traffic flow, keeping factions happy, and balancing your economy between tourism and exports. It's deep enough to keep you thinking but not so complex that you need a spreadsheet.
The modern DLC additions give you a ton of variety in buildings and edicts without breaking the base game balance.
The Bad:

If you've played Tropico 3, you'll notice this is basically the same engine with more content bolted on. It's a better game for sure, but calling it a full sequel is generous.
Late-game traffic and pathfinding can be brutal. Watching your teamsters drive past three construction sites to deliver logs across the entire island is pain.
The UI feels dated now, and some menus require way too many clicks for simple tasks.
Verdict: Recommended — As someone who's been with this series since day one, Tropico 4 is the sweet spot of the franchise. It's got the charm, the depth, and enough content to keep you busy for hundreds of hours. If you like city builders with personality, this is the one. Viva El Presidente.
fun to play even years later
capolavoro! gioco stupendo per chi ama i city builder e i giochi di strategia pur avendo un portatile o pc di fascia medio-bassa! Viva Tropico! Viva el Presidente!
I really like this game, because you can build a very good, beautiful, beautiful little island country!
Great series!
