Tropical Fish Shop 2

The name most likely gave it away already, but in case it didn't this is a tropical fish shop building game. By playing bejeweled, hidden object and other mini games you'll be able to unlock items for your shop and decorate it. I have played Gardenscapes in the past, and the concept of this game is very similar. The game looks colorful and bright, however, the graphics weren't that appealing to me. The levels can be challenging, specially when you have to keep checking your air supply (timer). I'm surprised by the large amount of content the game has, it will keep you playing for a long time. The game was really addictive to me at the beginning, but became a bit repetitive near the end. I still recommend it since my overall experience was really good. Great time killer for an awesome price.

This is a fairly standard Match 3 game with a few other minigames thrown in to mix things up. The graphics are suitabily bright and cheerful, and the music easy enough to mute which is how I play all my games. One thing I do like is that this title does have a relaxed mode that turns off the the timer, which is nice if you just want to do some low stess clicking. The hidden object levels aren't particularily difficult, and even the puzzles, which I tend to be very, very bad at, didn't stump me. But, they are skippable if a player does have a problem with them. The tropical fish store isn't really a sim, so much as a place to spend money that you get for for doing the game levels. There are several objects that one can purchase, and three different styles of each to choose, but the game decides where objects go, not the player. If you're looking for a tycoon style game, this is not going to be for you. One funny/odd thing that's come up for me. I typed my name in as "Annie", and yet my store manager keeps calling me "Annabelle". Sorta makes me want to start a profile with the name "Jennifer" and see if it gets changed to "Jennibell" or something. All in all this is a pretty good game, if you like this sort of game. There are no obvious flaws, and the nautical theme is lively enough, and I doubt anyone will be pulling thier hair out in frustration, unless they are very sensitve to unauthorized name changes. Well worth the $3.99 entrance fee. 7/10

I hope you get a kick out of this. 1. I Love And Hate This Game. 2. I Love How You Can Build Your Own Store, Match 3 And Hidden Object. 3. I played it for awhile. Restarted it, work..didn't lose anything. Hopefully devs still care about this game to fix it.

Game play itself is OK. Just OK. The levels feel very staged and limited. The highest score per level and lowest score per level only vary by $50. This basically leashes your upgrades to a set pace. Doens't matter if you do well. The price of upgrades has a wider range than the level bonuses do, so you can complete your shop just as fast by buying cheap decor and doing lousy on the levels. No reward for doing well. That removes any incentive, or feeling of accomplishment. The upgrades are supposed to bring more people to your shop to make you more money. After the first 4 upgrades, I left the game up for 45 minutes and made $5. So in essence, the upgrades are not only plotted out but they are useless. The second reason I give this a thumbs down is that at some point, in both easy and normal modes, the game give me a 'run time error' and crashes. I do not lose progress but it will skip the level it crashed on and I have to re-open and relaunch. All in all, this game would maybe be suitable for a young child. Just put it on easy mode and let them dawdle all day since time bonuses are insignificant. But as an adult, it was more like plodding down a tunnel with nothing of interest to liven the journey.

Standard Match 3 with storyline and occasional Hidden Object game. Not too bad, 6.5/10

I have not played nothing so boring in my life. At least the graphics are pretty.
