This is a 2D 100 hidden object style game, but instead of hunting for 1 object, you're instead looking for "kooky" or "quirky" things that are strange or out of place. The scene is expansive, with a good level of zoom, and has an amazing level of detail and personality, making it a treat to explore. In addition to the main goal, there is an extra goal of finding 100 sunscreen bottles, for some added challenge. If you get stuck there is a hint system, which can be recharged by playing two different minigames. On top of this, there are 100 achievements to earn, all of which are unique, showing the care put into this title. Overall, this is a great example of an interesting and innovative example of a game in this particular niche, so for me it's an S-tier in this category.

Gutes Hidden Spiel. Hier musste ich genauer hinsehen xD Waren ziemlich kleine Teile mit dabei. + Erfolge

Ein gelungenes Suchspiel. An 100 hidden Kooky könnten sich so manche Suchspiel-Entwickler eine ganz dicke Scheibe abschneiden. Ein super großes Suchfeld, wunderschön gezeichnet, teilweise animiert, mit einer perfekt passenden Hintergrundgeräusche-Kulisse. Vorweg gesagt, dem Spieler wird es nicht wirklich einfach gemacht, neben den "Unsinnigen" gilt es auch noch 100 Tuben Sonnencreme zu finden. Man kann aber gerne die Hinweise nutzen, die man sich zusätzlich durch ein Memory-Spiel, oder ein Reaktions-Spielchen erarbeiten muss. Da ich mir das Bundel der Kooky-Spiele geholt habe, welches im Sale ist, kann ich hier keinen Salepreis nennen, aber selbst die 1,50 Euro sind es wert das Spiel zu kaufen und zu spielen, es hat mich fast eine Stunde unterhalten, und das ist das Geld alle mal wert. Absolute Kaufempfehlung von meiner Seite.

I love this game because its more than just finding cats or dogs. You have to decide if the behavior of the NPC's is indeed kooky or not. It reminds me of the checklists inside the covers in the "Where's Waldo?" series.

I bought the three Kooky games as a bundle, and I feel that this - the second - is good, but I prefer the multi-scene style of the first game. This is a casual game consisting of a single very large doodle-style scene, in which 100 "oddities" ("kookies") have to be found (some are very apparent, others are more subtle), as well as 100 sun tan lotions. The drawing style suits the game and there is a good zoom function, as well as a hint facility which gives textual clues for the kookies and visual pointers for the sun tan lotions; the hint function has to recharge after use, or one of two mini-games ("pairs" and "stop the clock") have to be beaten to get another hint immediately. This game is fine, but I found that looking at a single giant scene again and again to try to get the last few kookies or lotions was more frustrating than the multi-scene nature of the first game; in the end I used hints for the last lotion and the last three kookies.

A VERY original spin on the "finding objects" genre, which combines 2 types of searches: 1 for 100 sunscreen tubes, which is the simply observation of the large black and white map, while the other is for 100 kooky characters (like someone sunbathing on a bed) which is somewhat "weird" and requires some brain deduction. Also interesting is the fact that, should you require more than 1 hint, you will need to play 1 of 2 mini-game genres to earn another one. Original and worth the asking price.
