deus criou trophy chaser. o diabo, com inveja, criou celeste. é um jogo bem fofo e divertido, recomendo <3
I did have fun and loved the mono graphics. It does seem kind of short for the price tag (it took me about 33 minutes to 100% it) though. Probably could also use gamepad support as the controls are honestly quite janky and one dies numerous times when the dash doesn't start despite pressing the button - I ended up mashing it during the hardest jumps. Nevertheless, it is impressively polished for a debut.
Eu iria meter um não recomendado porque eu estava estranhando ser MUITO difícil de usar o dash (dash esse mais que obrigatório pra terminar a maioria das fases), mas eu acho que eu sou é burro mesmo e não sei usar, então pode comprar feliz
The game is simple and i like that, i know it's graphics aren't good but the game isn't bad afterall
Neutral review. Second half amps up the platforming a bit, but it's still very basic with the way it arranges obstacles, often just multiplies the same ones. Like why not make the gaps between platforms over water a different distance? Enemies can be either jumped on to kill them, or need to be avoided, some of them can be used to give your jump a boost, but this is never really explored, too. It's a barebones 45 minutes experience, for the price it's just ok, but I was expecting more. It pales in comparison to "Froggie" (same price and 1-bit look) and "Telly the TV" is in a whole different platforming league.
For a less than an hour long monochrome 2D platformer about collecting trophies, this could certainly have gone a lot worse. The base game is there and the mechanic itself works smoothly most of the time, aside from when one has to go through multiple obstacles at the same time, that being enemies and walls. Furthermore, using the WASD keys to move in this genre caught my left hand by surprise, putting into the spotlight just how imprecise I am with it, so a remapping option would have been a blessing. Lastly, while having the signs point to the trophies made them more accessible, one wonders if the game would have been more interesting if those were either not there or a different kind of collectible was used in its place (that last trophy was sneaky). All in all, I don't regret my time with it, though my left hand somehow feels otherwise.
Levels' order is very random, difficulty is increasing or decreasing from level to level also pause just pushing you back to menu
nah, save your money and buy something else
