TRON 2.0

Wer das Tron Universum mag, kommt an diesem Titel nicht vorbei. Man spielt den Sohn von Alan Bradley, der 20 Jahre nach den Ereignissen des Originalfilms 1982 spielt, Optisch ist es eher an diesem Film angelehnt und nicht an Tron Legacy 2010. Inhaltlich ist dieses Spiel selbst nach 23 Jahren noch die Messlatte. Schöne durchstrukturierte Level, Upgrades des eigenen Charakters, E-Mail zur Beitragung der laufenden Geschichte und Verbindung zur Aussenwelt bilden die Atmosphäre. Als Extra kann man in unterschiedlichen Rastern den Lichtrenner steuern, ganz wie im Originalfilm.

being a long time Tron fan, ever since I was introduced to when I was 5, and then growing up to see both Legacy in theaters, and even Ares, being able to play any game that puts you onto the grid is awesome, the soundtrack is very atmospheric, and perfectly replicates the feel of the first movie. succeeding as a proper sequel, (especially if Disney still kept this cannon.) combat is nice, with each weapon being useful in any situation, and preferred playstyle. even down to your abilities being able to swap around parts to your liking. Character designs are top notch, from the programs who look just like they came from the first movie, to even to the main character with his more next gen look. Lightcycles races are also pretty well done in this game, though it is common knowledge to people who have played this game, know that the computer opponents are very tough, even on lower difficulties. My only criticism is that the difficulty spike is very sudden and a little inconsistent, parts in the middle of the game would suddenly be very difficult and frustrating, but then towards the end of the game it becomes a little bit easy. other than that, if you love Tron, or want to try out other first person story based shooter games, then this is a pretty good one to play.

Unnecessarily difficult in some parts, but an excellent game.

My first ego perspective shooter game, and probably what got me into electronic music. I like this storyline way more than what they did with the new movie.
