Fantastic game from a competent studio that will not disappoint you. Full of soul, every scene deserves a screenshot. You should buy and play them all.
The beginning to a great game series. The game studio behind it is extremely talented and devoted to the end product. Everything about it screams that it's a work of passion rather than something exclusively to make bucks. While the first game isnt as mechanically complex as the followups in the series its still fantastic and a lot of fun. Make sure to play with friends!

Trine is a great platformer! I've been wanting to play it for many years and while it's dated it still holds up to date! Back then I used to think the name of the game refered to the name "Trine" lol. The mechanics are fun to play with and there's almost endless solutions to progressing with the tools you're given. The story wasn't the best to be honest; while it did tie with the overall gameplay it felt as if it were added to just to have something. The game was also a little tedious at times and I couldn't play it for more than 60 minutes in one setting; it wasn't too bad but I definitely think they could have cut out 3 levels of the game and still maintained a good experience. I also agree with the other reviews that including a mandatory ad for their other games everytime you close the game is tiresome; especially when you also own said game and it doesn't register it since it's hardcoded. Other than that, looking forward to playing the other games in the series!
