This was a blast! I played the entire thing on my steam deck locked at 45 frames and it ran perfectly. Probably could have played it at 60 but I had my deck defaulted to 45 and it was fun. This game is a mixture of 3d platforming and twinstick shooting and it was a great example of how those two game types can mix together. By the end of the game your fox is basically the avatar being able to use all 3 classes! I went for the 100% and it was about 7.5 hours of fun. I picked it up on sale and I advise everyone to pick it up for a sale!
ehhh
While the indie feel and charm of this game work for its benefit in the first half, the lack of polish begins to shine through much more in the latter half making for incredibly frustrating and often tedious gameplay. I'd only recommend as a deep sale or part of a bundle, not worth the purchase otherwise
Picked this up for fifty cents on Fanatical and have zero regrets making it 1 of the 10 games from the 22 to choose from. It's the first of the 10 games I played and I'm REALLY liking it a LOT so far. HIGHLY recommend it! Initial impression is it's a combination of Lego games, a little bit of Human Fall Flat and a few aspects from a couple of free Steam games called Gizmo and 6-Mon Adventure. Just as its last key feature listed on its Steam page says, it's clearly designed as a modern retro adventure game with a new and fresh experience to evoke the spirit of many other classic 3D platformers. It has done exactly that from the get-go. I'll update this review over time for sure.

An imperfect but satisfying title that plays like an indie version of Ratchet and Clank. The fixed camera angle leads to some platformating frustration, and there's no default melee weapon to fall back on. Having to customize your loadout in a separate room is a choice that requires some planning, but I would have preferred being able to change weapon loadouts in game than restarting a level all over. It's a 7/10: a little short and not perfect but as a R&C fan I enjoyed it.
Lots of good ideas, especially the way you can mix and match abilities from different trees freely, but the camera and the weird 3D aim that's always a bit off from your cursor really aren't helping: add in some questionable balancing, and you'll find yourself running past as many fights as possible and spamming summons when you can't run away.
Charming little action platformer reminiscent of Jak and Daxter. The actual platforming and movement was a little clunky/slow but the game made up for it with a variety of enemies and builds that you can mix and match. The boss fights in the game felt suitably challenging and the achievements weren't too grindy.
https://youtu.be/TLAL4OkhPC8 Providing a lot of play variety is commendable, which unfortunately weakens the level design significantly as everything is built to a lower common denominator of abilities.
