HOLY [[Cungadero]] DO I FEEL GOONERS
game is fun and pretty long (40+ hours for 100%) the vore thing turns out to be an original mechanic, (just have to ignore the fetish part of it)
i like when a plant grabs me and fills me with slime
This is a fetish game we all know this but this game has great characters that are love-able, a story that puts AAA games to shame, and gameplay that i find quite addictive. The story while not soul changing and mind breaking it is still a good story one that i think is well worth 15 dollars. Not at one point did i think the villains to be stupid or the boss to go easy because they are at the early area every character in the story feels like they make the best choice they could have done and did. The characters also feel real and great, a NPC might only be around for a little bit or have a few lines of dialog and yet in each line has heart and soul in it letting you know just how much care is in the game. The gameplay is on par with hollow knight you need to be fast and clever to try and out move your enemy as well as do damage. The fetish part of the game comes into combat and it doesn't get in the way at all, in fact it improves the gameplay and helps you most of the time getting bigger allows for more damage but you move slower and sharp objects hurt more and stun you a bit. This makes combat feel fresh with each enemy on how they attack, what they attack with, and how big you are. When playing this game I almost completely ignored the fetish part of the game because I was too distracted with the world and the characters and it being in combat made it go from fetish to stagey trying to figure out how big i need to be in order to get past an area or boss or enemy area. If you are going to pass this game because of the fetish you are missing out on a experience that worth more than 15 dollars I would happily pay 20 or 25 dollars for something like this.
very hard and fun game. Requires lots of skill.

Even outside of some of this game's more overt details and focus on size, Tribal Hunter is a solid Metroidvania that isn't afraid to get a little silly or serious at times. I still wouldn't feel comfortable playing it in public, but I did feel comfortable 100%ing it. The main tenants of Tribal Hunter, the weight gain and eating mechanics, work as an intuitive risk-reward system across the board and feel incredible to have a grip on. Balancing the easier navigation and faster mobility with bigger and stronger attacks feels obvious but it works like a charm, and it never feels too cumbersome to work with. The character designs are all charming and appealing in their own ways. Characters like Lord Darkdread and Crusha feel unique and memorable, but even mook-like enemies like the countless pigs or even the Slime King feel distinct from similar offerings. Munch himself is a fantastic protagonist design, and a lot of his animations are cute to watch. There's even a skin system if you want to change his colors! The music works alright. I'd say the final boss is a clear standout but even some of the biomes, especially early on, work well to set the tone. The story feels like the weakest link in this game, but even then it has some highlights especially in some of the optional things you can witness. Overall I would highly recommend this for a good, shorter Metroidvania. Not quite as short as Worldless, but a lot more endearing and memorable. Just don't blame the game if your clothes feel uncomfortable.
Why's he eating everyone though...
Had the game forever and started playing through it. Oddly charming even if the visuals aren't giga polished. Has fun gameplay elements :V and the skill progression helps since there are rough spots even in this game.
this game is so dang fun and funny too, it starts off kinda challenging but as you progress and find powerups and sruff like that it get more and more fun. Bosses can be quite the challenge unless you know what you are doing or are slightly lucky with a few. i cant stop playing, and munch is such a fun character to play
