Dang. If that's how normal people feel playing games about boobs and butts, I can see why gachas are so popular
"Hey-hey People..."
If there's one word I can use to describe Tribal Hunters in an Unironic matter; it would be... Unapologetic. It KNOWS what sort of Game it is and who it Caters to, and it is not Ashamed to show it. It doesn't shy away from the fact that you can become as Rotund as a Dirigible by Multiple Means or that you can share such experiences with some of your opponents because that is the Main appeal of this game. Beyond such an element of Gatekeeping is actually a decent Metroidvania with about 20 or so hours of worth behind its oversized rear. Plenty to explore, upgrade and even a few obstacle courses on the side. Whilst the plot isn't too extravagant, the concept of character is Widely wholesome enough; both protagonists and antagonists that you surprisingly endear towards, plus explaining how you can get away with such ludicrous feats(except the egg-laying part, still figuring that out...) Overall; whilst I wouldn't expect Tribal Hunters to be a Massive breakaway success, it's definitely the sort of game that can carve its own Niche in Certain Spheres of the Internet.
i love big men and this game fulfils that
So it's not a secret we all know that this is a fetish game however if you are able to ignore that if the fetishes aren't your thing there is genuinely a great Metroidvania style game here. The whole growth and inhale mechanic this game is centered around is probably one of the most unique gameplay mechanics I've seen to date its kind of akin to Kirby with the inhale ability. Depending on how big you are, your weight and size affect your damage, speed, and hit box. Want to be bigger and take less damage? Go ahead. Want to be smaller and more agile? That works too. I genuinely ended up enjoying the gameplay loop and didn't feel like I ever really got bored. The story for this game isn't crazy or world-breaking; it's more of a simple get to the end and beat-the-bad while giving you some lore along the way but despite that it does have some cool lore that explores the islands' history and the backstory of the protagonist (Munch), but I think this is far more than enough for a game like this as not every story needs to be groundbreaking. One of the areas where this game really shines is the music, character designs and personalities. First of all, holy this game's sound track is amazing for a game like this. I really do wish the ost was on spotify but that might mean I might have to buy the steam soundtrack for this game, Now onto the characters. The character designs in this game have made me fall in love with how good they are; even simple enemies look pretty stylised and stand out. Characters like Lord Darkdread and Munch have to be some of my favourite anthro/furry characters simply due to their designs mannerisms and personalities. I do hope this game gets DLC sometime in the future since I would love to see more of these characters interacting now that they aren't enemies and rivals. I really do suggest that you try this game even if you dislike the fetishes this game was built on. It shows how Melonsoda (the dev) has clearly built this game off passion and its more fun than ive had with big budget games that have recently come out which says a lot about Indie devs as a whole. 10/10 would let Lord Darkdread do me again.
Fatfurs and bellies ewe ❤️ digo, amo este juego uwu
oh my belly so full of achievements
This game is fun. Yes, the fat furry inflation fetish game is F U N . And the soundtrack is pretty good too. And I wonder why my father left
When you play this game long enough, you start to completely forget you're playing a vore/inflation game and get really into the general gameplay. It's also very challenging, a definite must-play for any old school Nintendo fans out there.
okay so, yeah. It's a fetish game, no sugarcoating. But... It's a pretty solid platformer, and I enjoyed playing through the whole game from start to finish, even getting it to 100%. So heres my review: When it comes to gameplay, as weird as they are, the gimmicks are unique, balanced, and done quite well. To summarise it quickly: bigger = more damage but a larger hitbox (and late into the game is more of a weakness which was a pretty cool twist), every enemy or item can be inhaled, and projectiles (such as fireballs, and eggs which can be perfectly timed at enemies which i'm not gonna elaborate on). Like i've said, it's very well balanced, and there's also a skill tree to upgrade attacks and etc. Some enemies take advantage of the whole gain mechanic, making your strength a flaw as you can go over capacity. Story wise, it's a pretty simple but great. You're a spirit who's been summoned by your tribe to protect them from rival tribes, which is the adventure you go on. Plains, slime and crystal caves, beaches, haunted areas, jungles, mountains and a beehive are some of the places you go, with unique enemies that provide their own set of challenges, and bosses. Style/graphic wise, it's great. It goes for a more pixelated style, with all the different areas not looking the same and somewhat beautiful. All of the character and enemy designs are great, all being pretty unique and fitting the area they come from. Bosses are some of my favorites (kilsha my beloved) So in general, it's a pretty good game. For the freaks out there the game has its perks, but for people wanting a great platformer I recommend it. It was fun to 100% too. (I'm freaks, by the way)
game is fun and pretty long (40+ hours for 100%) the vore thing turns out to be an original mechanic, (just have to ignore the fetish part of it)
