TRex Hero

Simple game in which you save future dinosaurs from asteroids. The goal of the game is to grab dinosaur eggs while dodging asteroids falling from above. All you can do is walk left and right, but you can also gather unique icons that allow you to call a friend to serve as a temporary shield or evade threats with three special abilities. A shooting star delivers all power icons to the stage, and each power can be gathered three times and used as needed by clicking on it. The game takes you across six different locations, each with three repetitive stages. Each level is a single screen with teleporting sides, allowing you to walk to the left edge of the screen and appear on the right, or vice versa. Eggs come in three colors, and the stage ends when you collect the required number of all eggs. There is only one egg on the screen, and it appears at random, so you may have to wait for the one you need. Although asteroids can break eggs, this will not cause the stage to fail. A stage fails only when you get hit three times. Aside from different backgrounds, a new location makes asteroids more dangerous since they spawn a momentary threat at the point of impact. So, whereas the first location simply features green fumes that make you barf, the second location includes lava pits that make you run around. These threats will not claim any of your lives, but you will lose an egg. The remaining number of lives will grant you stars, with three stars for best performance. This doesn’t matter because you can finish the game with only one stars across all stages. Bonus feature is the store where you can buy new skin colors and accessories for your dinosaur. Its design is not the best because it only shows three items and you can’t see what you already bought.

Excelente juego bastante simple, muy bueno para el publico casual o para los niños. Un Detalle genial es que no tiene compras con dinero in-game, todo lo puedes conseguir con la moneda del juego (los huevos que rescatas), que son paletas de colores y accesorios para el T Rex. La dificultad escala entre cada nivel, agregando diferente tipos de meteoritos y power ups para contrarrestarlos, siendo cada vez un poco mas complicado sin llegar a lo frustrante, excelente para el publico casual y una experiencia rápida. También totalmente recomendado para un publico de niños, con una estética cartoon y con mecánicas fáciles de entender, ademas para que entre sus amigos compitan para ver quien rescata mas huevos. Dato interesante: puedes usar las teclas I, J, K y L para activar los power ups si no quieres usar el mouse, para los jugadores "tecladistas"
