I like the idea of the game and atmosphere and for the 13 bucks i paid for id say its worth. If i paid 25 bucks then i would say it isnt. i hope the game reaches 1.0 state soon cuz if they play their hand right then this can be a really fun game
The game looks really good graphically but thats about it really. will absolutely consider repurchasing in the future if it gets more work put in
Kickstarter Scam. this isnt even early access or a beta... its just shovelware.
Tutorial is 10 years within the past, of course art wise its great. But peel back that art layer and what are you left with? A game that's barely playable. Buggy of course due to the dev leaning towards art, ran out of funds for VA's so ai voices it is. Lower the price for now and its still not worth it.
You are a Beta tester. focused on visuals before gameplay and its apparent. i was expecting a dark/horror ww1 semi-fantasy game, and quickly realised with the 2nd character you talk to (sgt. von? voss?) is wearing 1990`s multicam, now knowing what kind of early access game this would be. you are a beta tester. alot problems from the game tripping over itself. broken ai and interactions. and constant reminders to help with bug reports.... the atmosphere and vibes are amazing but thats the only good thing about it. you can die while at the shrine in the menus while editing your gear.......... should of asked your friends to test this before going on steam. part of me wants to wait the other part screams refund for under cooked game.
Trench Tales has a great potential as a mix-up of Souls-like mechanics and Remnant gameplay. It has flaws, there are some placeholders and controls feels a bit janky, such as NecroVision but this could be a banger with patience. Some fixes and a little bit more of content and it's a solid game, quite unique at the moment.
