Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

1 Campaign Mode
Choose your side and experience various historical timeline-based campaigns from the perspective of the Soviet or German army. Each campaign will include a large number of carefully crafted linear process levels with different experiences. Players can match troops and choose battle routes according to their preferences, and use the experience and resources gained in the battle to strengthen their strength and lead their team forward. We have now completed the development of the Soviet campaign, and will release the German campaign from another perspective in the future.
2 Entertainment Mode
We will provide a variety of fun entertainment modes as the game is updated. We have already released the RPG mode, which is mainly for individual players and has high freedom and playability. You can choose your own specialty, choose the upgrade path for your company and individual, and try to challenge your opponents in various ways. We have also planned a conquest mode that focuses on strategy and a tank battle mode full of steel torrents. This part of the content will be gradually launched after the game's first-hand experience begins, so stay tuned.
3 Custom Mode or Workshop
Want a purer battle? No problem! We plan to open the game's custom mode or creative workshop in the future. You can set the map, enemy and friendly units, and battlefield scale by yourself to create your own epic battlefield and experience your own excellent experience.

Trench Lord is a clever 2D shooter in the vein of Running with Rifles or a single-player Foxhole, but set explicitly in the Eastern Front of World War 2, featuring the Soviet Union and Wehrmacht forces (albeit rendered in cute, polygonal format). The primary appeal of this game, though, is that it mixes large-scale, 2D shooter mayhem (very much like battles in Running with Rifles) with squad-based tactical combat and maneuvering (complete with weapons teams, vehicle crews, and a suppression mechanic), as well as a management overlayer in which you decide which weapons and troops to procure/replace in campaign. There are three pre-set campaigns: one prologue/tutorial campaign set in the pre-war conflict between the Soviets and Japan, and one campaign each for the Soviets and Wehrmacht set during the war itself. In addition, there are randomly generated campaigns and scenarios that allow for more variety once those are done (though I am finding the campaigns themselves to be highly replayable just due to the variety of ways one can build and deploy forces to tackle most challenges). Throughout each campaign, you build up squads and vehicle crews to efficiently use armaments that you can spend your prestige to acquire from your own nation's stockpiles, or receive battlefield salvage of enemy weapons/vehicles. This allows you to approach different challenges in different ways, as, in addition to different weapon loadouts, squads can be outfitted with specialized equipment for special purposes (e.g., grenades, binoculars, etc.), and even the type of squad influences how it performs. For example, designated rifleman squads allow for more men to be deployed on the field, and could even all be outfitted with submachine guns or machine guns (if you can afford it), but they will not have the speed and suppression resistance of a dedicated assault squad or the cover bonus and accuracy of a dedicated machine gun squad. However, it is definitely possible (and fun) to mix and match different squad loadouts to find the optimal equipment, weapon, and squad type combinations for different missions. That is to say nothing of the options for off-map artillery support, vehicles, and other modifiers one can acquire through the campaign and use in battle if desired. Suffice it to say that there is a lot more complexity and gameplay going on than gameplay screenshots would (or even possibly could) suggest, and that this is not just a 2-D shooter. Instead, for those that wish to engage with it, there is a layered yet approachable action, tactical, and strategic management experience to be had with this game that is almost more like a real-time, shooter-oriented version of a tactics game a la Valkyria Chronicles or even Fire Emblem than a pure shooter. It is certainly trying something very ambitious, and in large part succeeds. Certainly not everything is perfect: the AI sometimes behaves oddly when assigned tasks and moves in unanticipated, indirect paths (this is particularly true for friendly vehicles), and your squads' AI seems less competent at finding cover than enemy AI, or even friendly AI not under the player's direct control, often leading to embarassingly quick elimination of squads without careful attention. But, this game is already impressive, and is still (as of this review) getting regular performance updates, meaning it is only likely to improve from here. If you buy this game you will likely get your money's worth and more, and the Developer certainly deserves support.
