Trainscape

Well, It does seem to me, that the developer has abandoned this game, so other than the fact that my son wasted his christmas money on this, he can't even play it in it's current condition because nothing has been fixed! How can developers fight piracy, when you waste peoples money like this? Give us a reason for abandonment, or an update, or a refund, and I'll change my review accordingly.

the developer doesn't work here any more. Its garbage. Crashes ect.

Hidden Gem. Build train tracks,scene and then you can ride and drive the train!!!! Make me remember the old times building toy trains. Yet i still cant figure the controls. This game has a lot of potential once controls are improved and added more tutorials.

While it's still in development now I can't wait to see the finished project. I've always wanted to build model trains but space and money have made it prohibitive. Once there's more props and accessories in place this game will envelope a lot of my time.

Play with a model train in VR. It’s easy to learn, has some neat GUI/interface ideas, and runs smooth and stable. I like how you can shrink yourself so the train is life-sized, and even ride on the train (though this can cause some motion sickness.) The graphics very basic, the landscape looks barren even after you’ve placed every item in your inventory – primarily due to the single grass texture, and flat nature of the table. It’d be cooler if you could sculpt hills/mountains/tunnels. Would be good if you’re really into model trains, which I am not. There’s no way I’d recommend this at full $20, but I got it in a bundle for super cheap, and it entertained me for half an hour, so why not. Thumbs: UP!
