Trains VR

Looked like a promising game on paper, but once you get in, you realize how little there is. You get the opprotunity to construct tracks for the trains to drive upon while collecting stars. Thats about it. You can go inside the train but while in VR, you have to aim a cursor at the horn and the speed of the train instead of using your actual hand. The way you select a level is the same way, by aiming and hoping you are pointing to it. There is no walking around the table so when you get a level that is hard to see, you have to try to adjust yourself to be able to point to it. The controls are barely explained to where I didn't even know there was a settings menu until I was 8 levels in. I know I only played this game for 15 minutes, but I don't see any enjoyment coming from this game in the long run, just wonky VR controls.

Vorab, ich finde ja die Idee schön einen Raum zu haben, um eine Modelleisenbahn aufzubauen ohne ein ganzes Zimmer in Beschlag zu nehmen. Es passt alles schön handlich in eine VIVE ;) Das Spiel an sich ist schön animiert, auch wenn man ein paar kleine Macken sieht. (zB. ist keine Treppe da oä) Ich habe gerade erst ein paar Strecken gebaut und hoffe das es noch ein paar Stunden sind bevor ich alle 40 Strecken fertig habe, allerdings wünsche ich mir unbedingt einen Sandbox-Modus. Das wäre doch schön, selbst zu gestalten, Häuser zu entwerfen und in eine Welt einbauen, Berge mit Tunnel zu versehen um mit den Loks durchzufahren und Tiere und Felder zu besähen. Vielleicht ist das dann das falsche Spiel, schließlich geht es ums puzzlen, aber das wäre toll wenn aus diesem so ein Spiel werden würde. Aber so, mit 40 Strecken wird es wohl ein schönes, aber auch kurzes Spiel, denn bis jetzt sind die Aufgaben nichtmal knifflig, aber mal sehen ;) Ich würde es wieder kaufen, es ist erschwinglich und macht spaß

Nice for an afternoon relax. Definitely will play more. Looks really nice. It was fun to travel as a passenger.

Fun VR experience with challenging puzzles that uses trains to have you navigate tricky terrain collecting stars and trying to avoid crashes. There are 40 levels to play and the VR experience works well. Some of the controls are a but wonky, but nothing serious and the dev's have posted that they are addressing this in a future patch. If you enjoy puzzle games this one is a lot of fun and has a cool lobby area that feels very much like a 80's hobbyist room. Für mich ein nettes kleines Spielchen, was man sicherlich auch Kinder spielen lassen kann. Puzzles, die eine gute Lernkurve haben, immer schwerer werden, aber immer durchschaubar bleiben. Ciekawy pomysł, nie spodziewałam się takich zagadek w konwencji pociągów. Podobało mi się, że można wsiąść do pociągu i oglądać świat jako maszynista. Fajnie, że widać detale, kiedy pochylam się nad mapą. Na pewno jeszcze w to pogram!

Can only move physically in the real world to move in-game. Requires a large open space to play. This makes the game unplayable for me. Please add movement in the game. The movement options that are there aren't very responsive. E.g. Moving the table up or down has a 1-2 second delay after pulling the trigger.

Love this feeling that actually you can move around the table (or rotate the table to be more precise). Just imagine that you have this game with AR support and you can adjust your table in living room to a railroad heaven.

Train lovers will be satisfied. A typical puzzlegame with a gear changing, but extremely interesting looking at the table using VR. I Recommend this
