Reviews
This review is positive due to the fact that i do believe this year's updates to pc change's the whole game...for the better however being a DTG game some things have been poorly implemented in areas as you would expect. The Bad Some core issues still persists, if you played any TSW you will understand what i mean. We are still seeing empty stock or trains at yards still full of people, i notice this on the new German route the most. Some new features are simply broken , example the new freight mode which sounds on paper really good is simply broken @ live weather does not work correctly (However i would never uses this as it seems pretty pointless) I had a few empty trains coming out of Leeds with no one on bored again comes back to core issues. Some routes scenery especially the German route in areas is very bare and lacks much vegetation in the country side (we have seen other TSW 6 routes with much better scenery) Leeds has some questionable objects in the ground and floating. The Good The new Epic settings make the incredible detailed if your PC can handle it. FSR is a BIG game changer for the game So is Enhanced Lighting. The AI conductor on realistic settings, has worked very well for me and adds like there is someone driving with you as the conductor. The weather effects on dynamic change better and is not sudden i have noticed and it's a much improvement. Passenger's seem better as i yet to see any funny issues but not certain if this is a change or them just behaving. The price of deluxe and base TSW 7 is very much value for money. Deluxe costs less than 2 routes yet you get 3 new routes @ 3 Train or EMU'S add ons. No crash's at all. The routes Quick Summary Leeds route- is too HOT with all the layers this is a very good route and the best of the three, very detailed route. Miami route - Its very well detailed and the stock and trains are done very well , however stopping the route where they have is a crime! Should of gone to West Palm Beach its only 60 something miles from there to Miami airport well with in TSW limits for a route. NÜRNBERG - WÜRZBURG Route - is ok .You get plenty of layers if you own the right DLC @ NÜRNBERG and WÜRZBURG areas are modelled well however the countryside leaves a lot to be desired and is very lacking. You do get the ICE 4 at least which people have wanted. Performance with Epic/ultra- after playing around with the settings i get a good FPS mainly staying around 60-80 mark on the new routes. Older routes @ TSW 6 routes hitting 80-110 FPS @ 2560x1440. Overall, i recommend it as it does seem a step forward and we get a day one patch soon and more in the future. Things like the new freight mode shouldn't have come in the game yet and maybe got a later release once it had been sorted and ironed out better. There is plenty good here but plenty bad to however the good for once out weights the bad in my opinion.

not worth buying no real operations just not good sounds are bad horns sounds bad Buy Derail Valley is more worth it than Train Sim World7 i will buy everything when its on sale
Tl;dr Route selection: 9/10 Scenery: 8.5/10 Trains: 8/10 Services: 8/10 Performance: 6.5/10 Features: 8/10 Overall: 48/60 Definitely quite the improvement from last years release (but definitely not perfect), the game is finally... gaming. First off, the graphics and visual overhaul is great, a much needed upgrade. The new lighting system is wonderful, and the game still runs at a decent framerate (on my system). It happens with almost every release, performance issues. But instead of beating the dead horse, there are some new and really interesting features in this iteration. The addition of an AI guard and live weather is really cool, but not super well implemented (as of now). The weather changes very abruptly (suddenly its clear and now its thunder, in about 2 seconds), and the guard sometimes forgets to do their job. But with some fixes on the way, I hope this is fixed very soon The route selection this year was quite the upgrade from last year, especially on the UK side of things. Instead of boring A to B routes, we finally have a network route as a core route. And choosing the Airedale and Wharfedale lines was a great pick, lots of different services to choose from. The 331 is quite good, but not the best (the performance is quite buggy and it has a few flaws, but not bad by any means). The 331 "Fishbowl" is definitely much better, handles much better and feels more realistic overall. As for Germany and the US, I don't usually play routes from those countries all that often, as I usually mainly focus on the UK, but this years route selection made me change my mind. Both countries have great routes to represent them (too bad they cut the US route at Boca Raton instead of bringing the full TRI-Rail route into TSW7, but hey, its good as it is rn). The trains are nice and realistic, as are the routes. The only small issue (in my opinion) is performance. On Airedale-Wharfedale, at times, I was getting as low as 25fps, which isn't... great. Hopefully that is fixed with the first round of bug fixes/improvements As for features, the addition of an AI guard and live weather is really cool, but not super well implemented (as of now). The weather changes abruptly, and the guard sometimes forgets to do their job. But with some fixes on the way, I hope this is fixed very soon! In the end of this short yap session, I honestly can recommend the game this time around. Dovetail finally did something good! (hopefully they stop with the yearly releases, but that might happen after the big crunch)
same game at the end of the day, core routes are a bit of a miss for me personally though the Class 333 is nice. Enhanced Lighting & the ''Epic'' graphics are nice, still choose to just run my .ini. Live weather & AI Conductor stuff is a nice touch, though not really working really well. Unless you really want to get the core routes, I'd probably just stick to the free starter edition. Nothing really stands out with this release & the community is relied upon to fix & improve content
I wish I could be more positive about this TSW 7 release compared to last years release, but this one has been a disaster once again when it comes to performance. I feel like the performance gets worse with each new release, the new German route is a DISASTER when it comes to the performance! Also the lack of new features is just a joke, while we were promised "Improved Passanger behaviours" there is not a SINGLE DIFFERENCE! The passanger system is as bad as before and DTG refuses to just work on a complete new passanger system
Could've been an update to Train Sim World 6... or 5... or 4... or 3... or 2.
