brilliant a must buy for any JRPG

Finally done with my first playthrough, one of the best turn based game I’ve ever played. Really enjoyed the story too, looking forward to the 2nd chapter!

Really great JRPG. Story is a massive slow burn with no big plot changes for like the first 80% of the game, but it's really well done. Not that surprising considering this is a multi-series JRPG with whole story told in like 8 games. Combat is very fun, you are not forced into turn based combat by some trash 1lvl mob hitting you once, you can choose when you want to initiate or not so no need to farm dozens of hours of trash mob packs for no reason like in some JRPGs to artificially prolong the game. The turn based combat itself is also very good with a lot of options, positioning ,resource managing and very cool looking flashy animations. Quite a lot of re-used assets for NPCs, but all the unique NPCs are well done and voice acted for the most part.

I highly recommend this game, especially if you're into JRPGs. Until this year, I'd never even heard of "The Legend of Heroes" series. But this Trails in the Sky remake It's excellent. It hits that sweet spot so many of us are looking for right now, a good balance between combat and a story that actually makes you care. The special move animations are super flashy, and the main cast's personalities really carry the game when things get slow. **The not-so-great:** - Some characters can feel a bit flat, like they walked straight out of a shonen manga. - It can get repetitive at times. But the colorful cast and the core story kept me hooked enough to look past it. - There are *a lot* of cutscenes and dialogue. Like, a *lot*. It really drags the pacing down sometimes. You'll be itching to fight something and then, "bam" 45 minutes of reading. But if you're patient, it pays off. Overall, If you're a fan of the genre, this is must. I'm already looking forward to the sequel!

I just finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how this remake turned out. Their growth, the world-building, and the small character moments are still the heart of the experience, just presented in a way that feels fresh and accessible for a new generation. Whether you're a longtime Trails fan or someone looking for the best place to start the series, this is an easy recommendation. It's a fantastic example of how to remake a beloved classic: respect the original, improve where it matters, and preserve what made people fall in love with it in the first place. Thank you, Falcom, for giving this classic the remake it deserved. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Nunca havia jogado nenhum jogo da serie, me recomendaram muito começar com esse e dei uma chance. O inicio é bem lento e o combate demora um pouco a pegar, mas a partir do 2 capitulo não consegui parar de jogar. E agora que terminei ele fui imediatamente pra loja comprar o 2 capitulo, mas terei que esperar ate setembro, e como fazer isso depois desse final?????????????????? Muito bom, com personagens mt carismáticos.

As a long time Xenoblade fan it was about time I go down the Xeno to Trails pipleline and I'm glad I did. The combat system is crafted masterfully and super dynamic which keeps things interesting. The story might appear slow at times but every moment the game is used as payoff for the conclusion of this immaculately crafted political intrigue and coming of age story. Xenobros, it is 100% worth it to play this game and I can't wait to continue down the pipleline.
