It is so well made turn based JRPG. Gameplay-wise it has awesome openworld and movement on it, good telegraphing of where the objectives and side content are. Combat in the overworld is a nice touch, but the turn based combat has a flaw in my eyes. Turn order is time based, and thanks to some attacks giving delay on action, the enemy can just stun-lock you till you get your ultimate and can do something about it or die. It is frustrating, but one godly feature, a true gift from the heavens, saves it all. If you get defeated in combat, screen after lets you fight the same fight with reduced enemy strength. This way if the combat is for you unwinnable or you want to progress and don't want to grind and such, you can just do that (multiple times btw) till the combat is at a difficulty you what it to be. I love this feature so much, because it made the combat challenging, but winnable. Progress never was locked, I could just go and grind in the subsequent area and if the boss had 6 actions thanks to delay, I could just stop being frustrated and go on to the next part. About the story and pacing. Big part of it is lighthearted and slow. It is chill, and I enjoyed it. It still has a lot of deeper parts and characters are written really well. I also like that it is not simply fight between good and evil. it has believable characters.

Мне понравилась. И не благодаря каким-то определенным объективным причинам, а благодаря пресловутому вайбику, который позволяет абсолютно спокойно проходить скучные побочки и средненький сюжетик. Атмосфера спокойного путешествия, которое только перед титрами начинает превращаться во что-то более значимое, смогла попасть мне в сердечко. И поэтому я получил удовольствие от прохождения. Читающему же это рекомендую попробовать дэмку — если словите это ощущение, тогда флаг вам в руки. Если нет — можете не тратить свое время и деньги. P.S. Игра потянет даже на картошке

O desenvolvimento dos protagonistas e dos coadjuvantes faz com que seja fácil criar vínculo com esse universo e querer descobrir o que acontecerá em seguida. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter mostra por que a série Trails é tão respeitada entre os fãs de JRPGs.
