Great game, Bought it to play with my friend on xbox... had loads of fun during EA Cross-platform removed for full release. On a Xbox Game Studio published game BTW. will change to recommend when they add the crossplay back. Very sad
no cross play.... no couch co-op!? That's the whole reason I bought the game early
shipped with minimal new content after early access and abandoned. could have been something and honestly makes me sad to think about it.
So, this game had potential. But, in early access, they reset all our progress. Okay...so gave it a go later on and now they've reset it for a second time. And canned cross-play and multiplayer. Yeah, no.
I do not get these abandonware statements. They said loud and clear this a 1.0 launch NOT A LIVE SERVICE GAME. For $25 you get FULL COMPLETE 3 player co op fighter. I am sorry for those who thought it was some kind of constant drip feed live service content adding game. It is an old school co op beat um up with tons of content and loot. No more no less. They dropped the free to play micro buy stuff last year
No way to play with friends on Xbox, no way to search for random players. Refunded.
abandonado. a demas en early access lo vendieron como cross play y full online, ahora no tiene nada de eso.. medio turbio.
This game is good for what it is, but after taking a break from early release and purchasing a preorder into the game not being what I purchased... I feel like I was stolen from. The game was awesome when you could see other players moving around the Belfry. I found myself lacking direction because having the next area to unlock on the map was engaging the way it was before. Knowing I've put past the 2 hour mark to get my refund into the game has left me irritated about the game's existance. Shame on me for not checking comments before recommending my friend purchase it too.
TLDR: If you're looking for a solid beat'em up with more depth and replayability this one is GREAT! Ignore the negative comments. The combat is excellent The character customization is great There are a lot of cosmetics The leveling system works Gear drops are good and it's easy to get sets Each of the 4 characters play very differently Each character skill set gives them a ton of play variation Combat feels great and offers an evolving challenge as you advance keeping it fresh I've been playing on hard mode and I die from time to time as new enemies are introduced The pacing feels good. Multiplayer works flawlessly The only negative for me is there is a lot of dialogue sometimes, but you can just click through it so it's not really even a viable gripe. Having never played it in early access I would never know it was supposed to be F2P if I hadn't been following it for a while. I think the negative reviews are unwarranted. I was looking forward to it being f2p with a community, but it's still a great beatemup without it.
Actually shocked how good this game is, especially after reading some of the negative reviews to only now realize those few individuals are probably
IRL morons
so they struggled to understand certain concepts like reskinning an item (For example the one guy saying the glamour affect is only once per item when it's clearly not the case) but for a game that was designed to be a live service model drop that idea and make all the content available in game to be earned, this game deserves nothing but praise for that let alone all the other customizations and extremely well done designed stages.
