The game has engaging storytelling, quality voice acting, and clever gravity-switching puzzles. The game’s theme adds a fantastic layer to the experience. Jump scares!
i liked it quite alot. but in the 2nd to last room the enemy's walk through the walls thats a bit bad.
If you crave a horror game that grips you from beginning to end and leaves you questioning your every move, Tower of madness is essential. Just don’t play with the lights off—unless, of course, you’re ready to confront the madness.
A game inspired by the masterpieces of the Dark Tower series by S.King! If you like the books, check out the game!
Was traumatised with friends, felt physically sick a few times. 10/10, would play again.
Fun and dark. An atmospheric adventure that goes deeper than average horror, while still providing plenty of jump-scares and clever problem solving. Very charming art, audio and voice over.
Tower of Madness is a third-person horror game where you play a cowboy trapped in a twisted, gravity-bending nightmare tower. It's got heavy Lovecraftian vibes with a little bit of Dark Tower thrown in for flavor, all about climbing your way up while fighting your own madness. Pros: ✔️ Nice Aesthetic: I really liked the overall look of the game. It definitely captures that eerie, dreamlike feel it was aiming for. ✔️ Shows Some Promise: There are parts of the game that show they had some cool ideas—they just didn’t always land the way I hoped. ✔️ Solid Vibe: Even if everything didn’t come together perfectly, the mood and setting still gave it that weird cosmic horror atmosphere I was hoping for. Cons: ❌ Doesn't Play Great: Movement and combat felt pretty rough. I found myself fighting the controls more than the monsters sometimes. ❌ Assets Feel Limiting: It felt like they had big ideas but were stuck using assets that didn’t fully do them justice. ❌ Story Didn’t Pull Me In: For a game that’s trying to be atmospheric and mysterious, the story just didn’t hook me the way it should have. Conclusion: I really wanted to like Tower of Madness because I’m a sucker for Lovecraftian horror, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. I can totally see what they were going for, and there’s definitely something here for people who love the vibe more than the gameplay. For me though, it ended up feeling like more missed potential than anything else. Score: 2 out of 5 upside-down towers—a good idea that got lost somewhere between the stars.
Short and to the point, but also a really unique style and vibe. Love it!
I am not a big fan of horror games, but this one is very good. Beautiful art and unexpected jumpscares! Definitely worth the money!
I had to sacrifice two pancakes for this game and it was worth it,so much fun.
