No, not this one.
Изначально я не видел в Project RPG Remastered ничего уникального, но с каждым часом игра раскрывалась всё больше, демонстрируя недюжинную глубину и проработку.

The name in the taskbar is "Game Guru", they did not even bother to change that. The fact that this kind of content exists makes me sad.

For being called remastered It sure seems ugly. Had RPG in name, but barely any RPG features. Yeah, only accurate part of the name is Project. Because it for sure felt like a project; Early one. Very much just unfinished, just barely working. Extremely clunky, lacks polishing and features. Straight up ugly, poorly optimized, It is a mess. Even the small price tag does not help it much. Because: It would not be worth it even for free. I'm not sure why this gets the positive reviews. This is really just some cheaply made garbage. Absolute trash of a game. Like a dumpster fire. Very buggy, awful everything, just a bad game. I dunno why people give it the positive reviews. But: I for sure have to give a truly negative one. Such game I honestly cannot recommend at all.
Project RPG Remastered is an ambitious independent action RPG that blends open-world exploration, survival mechanics, and mystery into a personal journey driven by loss and forgotten memories. Developed by Acuze Interactives and published by Displacement Studios, the game opens with an emotionally engaging premise as the protagonist awakens with no recollection of his past except fragmented visions of his missing wife and son. This mystery becomes the driving force behind every step of the adventure, encouraging players to piece together both the character's history and the secrets hidden throughout the world. Rather than immediately sending players into battle, the game begins with humble tasks in the village of Bartrone, where trust must be earned through work instead of freely given. This slower introduction helps establish the game's atmosphere while reinforcing the feeling that survival depends on persistence and resourcefulness. Exploration is one of the game's strongest elements, rewarding players who venture beyond the village into forests, abandoned structures, and dangerous ruins filled with hostile creatures. The world contains multiple areas to investigate, each presenting opportunities to discover quests, gather resources, and encounter increasingly difficult enemies. The abandoned asylum stands out as one of the more memorable locations thanks to its unsettling atmosphere and horror-inspired design. Combat revolves around a selection of weapons and straightforward action mechanics that prioritize accessibility over complexity. While the battles may not offer the depth of larger role-playing titles, they remain enjoyable enough to support the game's emphasis on exploration and progression rather than serving as its only attraction. Quest design introduces a welcome sense of flexibility by allowing players to make decisions that affect their rewards and future opportunities. Completing different objectives can unlock new equipment, weapons, or previously inaccessible areas, giving each playthrough a degree of variation. Alongside the main storyline, optional bounties and side activities provide additional incentives to leave the main path and interact with the game's world. Trading also plays an important role, as villagers are willing to buy and sell goods that help players prepare for increasingly dangerous expeditions. This combination of quest choices, trading, exploration, and progression creates a gameplay loop that feels rewarding despite the game's relatively modest scale. Visually, Project RPG Remastered reflects its independent development roots. Character models, animations, and environments lack the refinement found in modern high-budget RPGs, yet the overall presentation succeeds in creating an appropriately lonely and mysterious atmosphere. The environments focus more on functionality than visual spectacle, allowing players to concentrate on exploration instead of graphical effects. Ambient audio and environmental sounds further reinforce the feeling of isolation, while the soundtrack complements the game's darker moments without overwhelming the experience. Although technical limitations are apparent throughout the adventure, the consistent atmosphere helps maintain immersion and supports the narrative's themes of uncertainty and survival. The game's greatest strength lies in its willingness to combine several gameplay styles into one cohesive adventure. Open-world exploration, role-playing progression, survival mechanics, horror influences, and narrative-driven objectives all contribute to an experience that feels larger than its budget might suggest. Not every feature reaches its full potential, and some mechanics can feel simplistic or rough around the edges, but there is a clear sense of passion behind the project. Players who appreciate independent RPGs and enjoy uncovering mysteries at their own pace will likely find plenty to enjoy, especially if they value exploration over cinematic presentation and polished production values. Project RPG Remastered may not rival major role-playing releases in terms of technical execution or visual fidelity, but it offers an engaging adventure fueled by curiosity, gradual character progression, and meaningful exploration. Its intriguing storyline, branching quest rewards, open environments, and blend of action and survival mechanics create an experience that stands out among smaller independent RPGs. Those willing to overlook its rough edges will discover a heartfelt game that prioritizes player freedom and atmospheric storytelling over flashy presentation. It is a respectable effort that demonstrates creativity and ambition, making it a worthwhile experience for fans of indie role-playing games. Rating: 5/10
