About
Tower of Kalemonvo is a challenging dark fantasy Action RPG - following the slower pace and high tension seen in genre-defining classics like Diablo 1 and Throne of Darkness. Defeat wicked foes, grow stronger, gather whatever loot you can find, and tread lightly - as every encounter could be your last!

Randomly Generated Dungeon
Rooms, rewards and foes are never the same across two playthroughs. Your path to the top will be yours alone.
Deep Itemization and Mystical Rare Items
Kalemonvo's loot system is about quality over quantity, carrying risks and rewards to continually reshape your build. Find unique pieces that allow for strange new playstyles: like a powerful but ravenous mask that consumes your potions, a pair of versatile shields made for dual-wielding, or a ghostly cape that makes you incorporeal.

Classless Character Progression
If you have the stats, you can equip any item, cast any spell or perform any combat feat. Play as a max-strength brawler, nimble summoner archer, or fireball throwing hammer-wizard. Adapt and experiment with your build to fit any playstyle you prefer.
Combat Arts and Item Skills
Combat is about more than just hacking and slashing. Each weapon type comes with their own arsenal of distinct skills: from throwing two-handed scythes, launching ricochet arrows, or reflecting projectiles with a shield.

Limited Resources
The Tower is not for the faint of heart. Potions are scarce, vendors are limited, and there is no town to Portal back to.
A Deadly Climb...
Hellish demons, undead warriors, mysterious cultists and many other malevolent beings will do whatever it takes to halt your advance. Only the most dedicated players will be able to succeed.
Do you have what it takes?

Completely nailed what made Diablo 1 so special but also carves out it's own identity
A wonderful tribute to Diablo 1. Any veteran of the original Diablo will enjoy the game as it does a great job at capturing the overall vibe and feel of slowly and methodically traversing a dangerous dungeon but growing stronger and stronger as you progress by finding new and powerful spells and equipment. Pros +Captures the Diablo 1 style combat but innovates the system to be different +Unique and powerful crafting system that allows you to make your own powerful unique items +Great pacing and monster density where it felt challenging but not overwhelming Mix +/-No "town" or main hub. You will encounter a couple friendly bases but they are not long term / fleshed out as Tristram. What this means is that the lore isn't as deep or memorable as Diablo since the NPCs just aren't there for most of the game and what lines they do have is fairly limited. While this hurts the overall story of the game, where it helps is that ToK becomes more of a survival game than Diablo where you have to manage your potions and limited inventory space, especially during the early game. It becomes almost like Resident Evil where you have to manage potions with equipment you think may be good crafting materials and if you are a mage, books you want to hold onto until you can read them. It also makes your decisions on when to use certain tools much more impactful; there are two powerful "crafting" tools available but they are sparse and limited in location. Balancing when to use these tools can easily make or break a run as if you use them too early, you end up with an item that is too weak and doesn't scale enough to take you to the next level but use it too late and you make your life harder and drain too many valuable resources. +/-Much like Diablo 1, magic remains OP, ranged is still a good option, and melee is underpowered despite some balancing attempts. If you play as a mage, you'll have a great time. If you play as a ranger, you'll have an okay time with some enemies that can be a pain unless you have a certain modifier on your weapon. And if you play melee, best of luck because you are going to have to chug a LOT of potions. +/-No difference between the characters, the choice is purely cosmetic. Starting weapons also don't have much weight or impact other than the wand which allows you to immediately cast fireball at the start. I feel like having character classes would add additional depth between the characters or playstyles but it doesn't hurt the overall experience. +/- New Game+ is a great extension to the game since it adds new enemy types and more powerful equipment but by the time you reach New Game+, your character is so powerful that it is way too easy (but then again, I was playing a mage). Cons -The game can be a little buggy or sluggish at times, especially when aiming. If this happened only once or twice, it wouldn't be bad but it happened enough to be noticeable. -Save files are not separated when you create a new character, it is one long list of saves and you will be saving a LOT so the list goes on forever!
Man this game need controller support
Generally a fun game, but short of banking on rng or perfecting your save-scumming skills, melee builds are mostly non-viable in my experience. Eventually you'll just run out of potions or be overwhelmed by hordes of enemies that stun-lock you. Magic is your only solution, but due to how stats work, you'll need to focus on casting stats to the exclusion of all else. There is no mixing and matching without gimping your build entirely.
Fun fun
BUG满天飞数值拉垮地图暗的一批刷也刷不爽A怪还有A空的我也是最了前期坐牢爽是不可能爽的只能坐牢
Great little game, addicting, cool monster designs and spells but those are not balanced, also would like for vendor that sells mana potions, other than that, i hope the creator will make diablo 2 spiritual successor in the future, which i know is unlikely but here's me hoping :D
Finally beat this game. After coming back to it after some time. When it was first released it was too difficult. Not enough resources. You'd just be stuck. no heals, no mana. After a bunch of updates this game flows well. Still a challenge, but much more fair. Very enjoyable. A great Diablo 1 clone. Best I have played. Worth your time for sure. Tight play, with a healthy Loot/Lvl crawl. SAVE OFTEN. SAVE WITH TWO DIFF FILES ALWAYS. I never lost a save file, but I crashed often. Steady saving remedied this. I did lose progress here and there, but with a healthy saving habit, I never got too frustrated. If you loved Diablo 1. You'll love this. A sincere homage.
