Great fighting game! Reminds me of Streets of Rage.
Good game , it brought me much joy.
For those who read one liner’s I suggest this one for this game. " I will fold you up like origami paper". Found this game in the weirdest of places. Linkedin!? I saw a small second of gameplay and I was brought back to my childhood of playing with McDonalds toys with their occasional cardboard cutouts of their mascots, eventually making my own out of paper and using it in a world my single digit child mind could make. I genuinely said “woah” out loud at work and showed my co-workers. It reminded me of certain Paper Ninbando game. But this is edgier, cooler and reminds me of the beat’em ups I used to play in the arcade. I genuinely think this could be a secret hit. For a first published game, or if this was an experiment or a proof of concept for school, although it was short, it was still fun and an easy recommend. Do not the read the rest if you do not want to be spoiled – In summary, it is a easy recommend and there is no excuse you should not try it out. The details. Now let’s talk gameplay. Some of the reviews referenced some bad controls and stun lag when hit. I used WASD and the Punch-J Kick-K – Jump – L and Guard – i. Seems like that was fixed and love it, felt at home. The stun lag when hit didn’t seem to show up for me, so it might have been fixed, they hit hard, but I got up quickly, quite faster than the enemies. But that is something I did want to address and was really only bother for me in the game. When I hit the enemy after a combo or use a jump kick on them, they take quite a long time for them to get up. Especially when you beat them off the screen, they can take a solid minute for them to come out, I found constantly moving helps as some enemies just stand still for some reason unless I move. With that being the problem, having so so many enemies in a level can get quite tedious. So maybe if the pickup would be faster, it wouldn’t have felt as tedious. The club item was not as great, simple enough I feel though was a place holder, but the bar pickup was soooo amazing and the rest of combat. Mangan fique. So beautiful and clean. The music!? Idk why it was giving me Guilty Gear Vibes, but I loved it, simple clean and catchy. Just like a cop film, can defiantly do a buddy cop scenario if you ever add co-op if u ever wanted to revisit the game. I would like to see simple confirmation sounds when the characters die, or you get hit but honestly not a big deal. One liner at the end of bosses would be kind of sweet before the cutout. Also, I know this is something not utilized as much as in my playthough and you can beat the game without it, but the dashes are soooooo nice, idk why but it felt like I was wave-dashing lol. Honest potentials if I saw a second game/revisit, smarter enemies being smarter/more types, more combos, maybe with direction stuff. The bikes and Scooter kid caught me off guard and I loved them; my favorites next to the bosses. Train scene could have had maybe a previous boss or two sprinkled in instead of a large amount of people every round. That’s just a personal opinion. Those are my honest thoughts, beautiful art style, simple but fun combat, great music, The backgrounds, sounds, the minor but impactful details. Man, I felt like I was living a childhood action movie again. Honestly would pay way more for this piece of art and should be used as an example in universities studying game design/art. Can’t wait to see what Cledson the developer does for his next project. Good job my friend! Stay healthy and if need more details feel free to contact me 😊

I ❤️ this game simple fun good job
I saw this game was being released a few days ago and art immediately grab my attention. The game is a standard beatem up single player where you move through 5 levels fighting enemies using your hands and feet. What caught my attention is the character models are animated Cardboard Cutouts which looks pretty cool as they sway as they move and get hit. At the same time I enjoy the catch fight music as in the first level alone reminds me of the movie Roadhouse. Of course the game does has some minor hiccups: - Some grammatical errors - You can fight enemies coming in on Air Bikes and Scooters (flying in the air) - When you get knocked back there no option to quickly get back up as I noticed if I use the fighting punches the protagonist flop like a fish in the air (at least you are immune to enemy attacks minus bikes) - Could have an option to lower the music volume Regardless this game is still pretty fun to play and the music definitely helps keeps the mindset of you being a cop kicking butt. I created a video of this on YouTube for those who want to see more of the game in action. Also congratulations on the dev for making this fun game I do enjoy it as it quick enough that I can play if I only have a few minutes to spare.
Out of all the games I own and have played on steam This might just be my 2nd ever review. This game slaps as hard as my Adderall withdrawal. Super uniquely styled beatem up game and best month-early birthday present I have ever received. It does have some a bit of rough patches here and there but this is a true gem. Won't go into detail about every single bug mainly because almost every guide I read points them out (I swear the feds are everywhere...), but just know that I am in love with this game overall and hope to see more content in the future from Cledman Games. Cledman, you are the Man. Keep up the good work. 9.5/10.
Amazing! Visual masterpiece! I so long didn't play fight and I absolutely satisfied. ;)
Story: It was very bare bones and honestly extremely lack luster. Graphics: The original reason I got the game as I thought and still think the cardboard cutout look is cool. And the use of backgrounds to just slowly move along was a smart time saving decision for the developers. Game play: The only way I found to go through the game was to spam attacks to stun enemies until so they couldn't damage you. Which was very repetitive and boring. Also the vehicle based units slowed the game play way too much that it just felt like a huge waste of time. And all the bosses were only really noticeably unique visually.. Though the introduction of weapons were cool they were not utilised often enough. Music: It was there I think. Overall: 2.5/10 *Would of got a 3 if there was a enemy unkillable glitch
