The distinctive look and low cost save this repetitive beat ‘em up. The presentation is what stands out the most because characters and the world look like they’re made out of paperboard. This would easily make it look funny and ugly if not for amazing animation. Although with limited actions, character movement is fluid and doesn’t feel like you’re moving a piece of paper over the floor. A lot of attention went into backgrounds that follow the same style and include small details like bottles in the bar. The gameplay is shallow, but it’s understandable with the low cost. Despite a kick, jump and block button, you can easily just spam the punch button. Enemies can take a bit of punishment, but it’s possible to get rid of those on one side of the screen and then focus on the other side. The punch range is very generous so you can stand still and hit everything. While kick is useless because it creates an opening for the enemy, jump kick is highly overpowered and useful for kicking enemies off their bikes. The game takes you through typical beat'em-up environments such as a street and a train. Progress through a stage is classic; you beat up everyone, take a step or two, beat the next wave, another step, another wave, and so on until you reach a boss fight. It’s very repetitive. Enemies punch hard. They can easily take out half of your health bar with a few punches. But they’re not very dangerous because all they do is walk towards you and punch. There are no fancy moves. The same goes for bosses who are bigger and have more health. You must complete a stage with a limited number of lives. However, you are not required to complete the game. Even if you lose all of your lives, you can just restart the stage and try again. There aren’t any major bugs. Although picking up stuff doesn’t seem to work with enemies around, it is usually not worth it. Rare weapons degrade quickly, and food replenishes very little health. There was one situation where an enemy became invisible to my punches and I had to restart the stage, and the ending screen is stuck on "loading", but that's not a big deal. In the end, there are a lot of similar games out there with generic gameplay. At least this one has low cost and unique graphic style. It’s fun for an afternoon and you get some easy achievements.

100円以上の価値は十分あり! 操作はキーボードで移動、ジャンプ、パンチ、キック、防御のみ パンチとキックを適当に連打していると意図しないコンボが発生してすごく気持ちがいい! おススメです👍
So easy that i feel bored!
This game seems to gravely misunderstand the appeal in beat 'em ups as a genre. Even when using the mechanics as intended (to rack up high combos) it's braindead and requires very little -if any- critical thought. There are also noticeable animation errors, including clipping and hitching. Occasionally enemies will just stand still and refuse to hit you, presumably out of politeness. It doesn't make for a challenging experience, though. The jump-kick is incredibly overpowered, and no attempts have been made to balance it. There only seem to be two enemy types. The art style is pretty and unique, but games are more than their style. This is a travesty. There are better beat 'em ups, free or otherwise. Bad game.

Fun game definitely worth the price
Simple y corto, algo repetitivo eso si, pero por su precio y duración es perfecta para una tarde donde no sabes que pinga hacer Ademas he de recalcar el llamativo estilo visual que posee, con todo un mundo hecho de cartón.
For those who read one liner’s I suggest this one for this game. " I will fold you up like origami paper". Found this game in the weirdest of places. Linkedin!? I saw a small second of gameplay and I was brought back to my childhood of playing with McDonalds toys with their occasional cardboard cutouts of their mascots, eventually making my own out of paper and using it in a world my single digit child mind could make. I genuinely said “woah” out loud at work and showed my co-workers. It reminded me of certain Paper Ninbando game. But this is edgier, cooler and reminds me of the beat’em ups I used to play in the arcade. I genuinely think this could be a secret hit. For a first published game, or if this was an experiment or a proof of concept for school, although it was short, it was still fun and an easy recommend. Do not the read the rest if you do not want to be spoiled – In summary, it is a easy recommend and there is no excuse you should not try it out. The details. Now let’s talk gameplay. Some of the reviews referenced some bad controls and stun lag when hit. I used WASD and the Punch-J Kick-K – Jump – L and Guard – i. Seems like that was fixed and love it, felt at home. The stun lag when hit didn’t seem to show up for me, so it might have been fixed, they hit hard, but I got up quickly, quite faster than the enemies. But that is something I did want to address and was really only bother for me in the game. When I hit the enemy after a combo or use a jump kick on them, they take quite a long time for them to get up. Especially when you beat them off the screen, they can take a solid minute for them to come out, I found constantly moving helps as some enemies just stand still for some reason unless I move. With that being the problem, having so so many enemies in a level can get quite tedious. So maybe if the pickup would be faster, it wouldn’t have felt as tedious. The club item was not as great, simple enough I feel though was a place holder, but the bar pickup was soooo amazing and the rest of combat. Mangan fique. So beautiful and clean. The music!? Idk why it was giving me Guilty Gear Vibes, but I loved it, simple clean and catchy. Just like a cop film, can defiantly do a buddy cop scenario if you ever add co-op if u ever wanted to revisit the game. I would like to see simple confirmation sounds when the characters die, or you get hit but honestly not a big deal. One liner at the end of bosses would be kind of sweet before the cutout. Also, I know this is something not utilized as much as in my playthough and you can beat the game without it, but the dashes are soooooo nice, idk why but it felt like I was wave-dashing lol. Honest potentials if I saw a second game/revisit, smarter enemies being smarter/more types, more combos, maybe with direction stuff. The bikes and Scooter kid caught me off guard and I loved them; my favorites next to the bosses. Train scene could have had maybe a previous boss or two sprinkled in instead of a large amount of people every round. That’s just a personal opinion. Those are my honest thoughts, beautiful art style, simple but fun combat, great music, The backgrounds, sounds, the minor but impactful details. Man, I felt like I was living a childhood action movie again. Honestly would pay way more for this piece of art and should be used as an example in universities studying game design/art. Can’t wait to see what Cledson the developer does for his next project. Good job my friend! Stay healthy and if need more details feel free to contact me 😊
Great fighting game! Reminds me of Streets of Rage.
Awesome gameplay, nice graphic, but the story is too short. I just need around 30 min to finish this game
