An utter performance disaster. Boot the game - struggle to hit 30 fps. Restart it, maintains 45 fps (which is still garbage, given my specs). Boot it the next day, hovering at 17 fps. Toggle from borderless to fullscreen, it's pegged at 4 fps. Revert back to borderless? Believe it or not, still 4 fps. Game seems cool, but not absolutely not worth this level of aggravation. Booted the next day - locked at 240 fps. Wat.
Lo que más me impresionó de Total Chaos fue la ambientación y el diseño de sonido. El juego hace un trabajo increíble creando una sensación constante de tensión. No lo considero un juego de terror al 100 %, pero sí tiene zonas que realmente consiguen dar miedo, y durante gran parte de la aventura logra mantenerte bastante tenso. El sonido ayuda muchísimo a conseguirlo, incluso en momentos donde aparentemente no está pasando nada. Puede tener algunas cosas algo toscas, especialmente en el combate, pero la ambientación, la exploración y la tensión que consigue mantener hacen que sea una experiencia que vale mucho la pena.

I absolutely love this game !! From the feel of the game to the aesthetics to the story, i love it all the way true. The gameplay feels smooth and the combat is feels amazing, i love how the stamina works in combat. The crafting mechanic was fun and i did find myself hording loot and dropping stuff on the ground in a main point of the chapter but that has since been fixed with the chute mechanic. There is a lot of enemy variety in the game with almost all of them having their own mechanics and they get used amazingly in different places. The notes u collect true out the game look very good and i love the crafting recipes u find true notes showing pictures of items u can combine. THE AESTHETIC AND VISUALS ARE AMAZING, the crazy stuff that happened sometimes reminded me of when i played The Evil Within for the first time and that's one of my favorite games of all time, this game just does it so amazingly and everything fits so well. As someone who get's quiete easily jumpscared sometime Total Chaos had me scared quite a lot hehe, the sound is design is very nice and they got the goat himself Akira Yamaoka to make the main theme. I can't recommend this game enough, it's amazing.
The screenshots, videos, and references led me to believe this game was largely a shooter game, but the game plays out as a survival horror game from a first person perspective. Towards the end, you are afforded ammunition in large enough quantities that you can try to do more shooting, but even then you still have to rely on melee weapons and kiting enemies to survive. I almost want to not recommend it, because it throws 3 different genres of games together, but doesn't execute any of them particularly well, but all in all the game was an enjoyable experience.
