Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is not a finished product. There are numerous glitches in combat. I was willing to put up with that frustration but now I find that the story is mediocre at best. It is in the flavor of Sid's Pirates but lacks polish and storytelling.
An abandoned and yet very underrated game.
This is an abandoned game since very few people even bought it to begin with. But it is also an underrated game since it has potential and is still worth buying on sale, for the sake of experiencing something new and fresh.
Visuals and quality.
Visuals and pretty sceneries just makes you want to stop and just enjoy it all. The way the water changes depending on where you are. The way that fish swims in stacks or solo looks very realistic too. Beautiful underwater coral reefs. The camera view change when in battle and your ship takes enough damage and is about to sink. Voice-overs are of great quality too. And during combat or other moments in the game, many actions are re-phrased in so many different ways that I have yet to find an end to them. All of that makes this game pretty fun and immersive.
Tutorials and progress.
The tutorial pop-ups makes it easy to know whatever you need to know when you need to know it. And there are plenty of story content to enjoy along the trading or looting. There are so many pirate ships. So you have to attack nations you don't wish to be enemies with. And you are not forced to split your share at a certain time. Yet your crew morale will slowly diminish. And even when you do split your share, you gain a bunch of experience points for that and which allows you to add more upgrades to your character. Although that will one day end just like the tutorial. But it'll probably be a while.
Customizations and bugs.
This game has decent amount of ship look customizations as well as 3 tier upgrades of all kinds across the map that you can find towns that specializes in making sails or expand your hull and crew and much more. But some of these are very buggy. You sometimes see you have 4 undistributed personal character skill points. And yet only 2 of them may be set, while the other 2 gets unchecked as soon as you close the main character menu panel. Which leaves you wondering what happened to the other 2 skill points that you attempted to set? And why even give points that aren't meant to be used in the first place? Other times you may even end up with a negative amount of skill points. That is pretty bad. This problem was reported and received many months ago. But no fix was ever released. You can have many different ship types and make many different ship builds. Where one may have more crew and the other may have some other abilities. And all of it feels like you have plenty of choice and that this game is actually pretty deep. Yet as soon as the boarding battle starts and both results in the exactly same amount of enemy crew casualties, that's where the immersion breaks and a realization sets in that some things in this game is just an illusion of choice. And since it is an abandoned game, no fixes can be expected any time soon.
Casual game experience.
The main story of the game and even the grind can still be pretty fun and enjoyed even alongside all of the bugs, missing calculations and unfinished game mechanics. Because by the end of the day this is still a small casual game probably around $12.50 in value. So yeah basically go and grab it as soon as it goes on a 50% sale. I'm sure that you will still enjoy it. I had so much fun grinding with so many different side-missions during the first 12 hours, that I completely forgot about the main story. Then I realized I forgot about the main story and then I had a blast with the main story too. So it is a fun casual game.

Game feels very dry bones and abandoned. Don't waste money on this like I did...
Still learning all the rules, etc, The game is fast paced, but fun. Time well spent for me. Give it a go.
I like the turn based battle system. The boarding actions come down to dice rolls, but there are many things you can do to stack the odds in your favor. The game also lets you save at any time, so you can always save before each battle and just reload if you get a bunch of bad dice rolls in a row. The main story missions are optional. You can still enjoy the game regardless of what missions you choose to complete or ignore. You can choose to work for the major nations and earn noble titles or be a thorn in their sides by raiding their port towns and sinking their fleets.
Also im Schnitt gehen also 20 Min., für Seeschlachten drauf.
They don't make them like this anymore. This is a game. No Early Access. No Broken Unreal Engine/Unity Slop. No Microtransactions or overpriced DLC's. No always online or taking the game offline after five years and loosing access. It reminds me so much of the times when you went to the store, bought ur CD and just played a game. Only a very few micropatches for little bugs I think. HUGE hats off for that. The game itself is fun, there are many hours of fun content, scaling enemies, fun achievements, clean nice UI and a lot to do and discover. Love from Germany, you are doing gods work, I think Gaben would be proud.
Grę polecam wszystkim którzy lubią klimaty pirackie i grę Port Royale
