About
Toroban is an infinitely wrapping puzzle game. Explore a nonlinear overworld full of interconnected puzzles. There are various biomes to experience, each with unique mechanics and themes. The game initially launched with 270 solvable puzzles, but the final endgame area is still under development.
This is the starting area, which contains simple toroidal puzzles with blocks, buttons, and gates.
The walls have crumbled in this area, allowing access to puzzles from the outside world. Objects can be transferred between puzzles. Players must alternate between activating the toroidal puzzles and interacting with the puzzles from the outside world.
This area contains X and Y axis blocks, that when moved, shift the alignment of the toroidal grid.
The characters in Toroban are called toros. There can be multiple toros in a puzzle, and this area explores the concepts of how they can work together to solve puzzles.
All of the mechanics combine together in this area. Completely new kinds of puzzles emerge!
Various overworld mechanics are used within puzzles here. NOTE: This area is still under development, but is beatable in the current state.

I think this game is surprisingly deep. On the one hand, it's just a bunch of little puzzles and nice gentle music - at first I expected it to get monotonous, fast. But they mix things up very nicely by throwing new things at you - there is more variety than i expected. But what I find cool is there's kind of a level unlocking meta puzzle that's overlays everything. It pulled me. So I think it's a cool game. Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing game that deserves way more attention. The mechanics are mind-meltingly deep and interesting and the puzzles are downright diabolical at times. This game also has plenty of mind-blowing moments, if you're into that! There are a few flaws, such as some of the later levels being slightly repetitive, and the game ends without much fanfare (post-game content is scheduled to be released later this year, however). There are a handful of puzzles that I think are just evil, but I would say (in opposition to some of the other negative reviews) that the vast majority of them are extremely intuitive and feasible to solve on your own with enough patience and practice. Easily one of my favorite puzzle games, up there with classics like Portal, The Witness, Baba is You, etc. Highly recommended.

Such a fun game! Unique concepts and the graphics are adorable, 5/5 stars :)
This game rules. Extremely fun puzzles.
The idea of this wrapping around a torus makes for some mind bending puzzles. I highly recommend it if you want sokoban with a twist.
Solid puzzles with fun mechanics that I can't recommend to anyone not already an enthusiast of the genre. There's a lot to dig into here that kind of goes off the deep end - I've roughly only beaten like half of the game - but there's still a lot of substance even if you don't see it through to the end.
The visuals and engine are well-polished and the puzzle mechanics are really cool. There is a lot of potential here for an interesting game, and I loved the puzzles in the Ruins. Unfortunately, the game doesn't end there. Later puzzles can be quite tedious, with offset block puzzles being the worst offenders. The game also has so many filler puzzles that are either blatant copies of earlier puzzles or are designed to maximize your move count while you do the same moves over and over again. Overall, I'd say Toroban is worth trying, but I just wish the puzzle design wasn't so lazy...
