Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Tormentum II — 90 minutes in and already gripped! Thanks Dev for this wonderful game that I am really enjoying. Woke up in a prison on a remote island, trapped inside a nightmare world I apparently built myself — and that hook alone had me leaning in. This is a hand-drawn, dark fantasy point-and-click with real psychological horror undertones, and the Giger/Beksiński-inspired art is genuinely impressive — every scene is packed with fine detail, like each background took real time and care to paint. The puzzles have been a highlight too — there are a lot of them, and some are legitimately challenging, not just filler to pad playtime. I've only explored a couple of islands so far, but the choices already feel weighty, with nothing clearly right or wrong, hinting at different endings down the line. Standalone story, no prior game required, and so far it's earning every bit of its dark reputation. Excited to keep going.
The first Tormentum is a flawed hidden gem. Decent puzzles, some kind of a story, gorgeous Geiger-inspired hand-drawn art, and lots of black metal vibes. The sequel is a double serving of the same minus the puzzles. There are puzzles but every single one is incredibly easy. So if you are getting this for some brain teasers, you've been warned. There are also a handful of binary choices in the story and multiple endings. I got a couple. Dug them! So, if you want to enjoy going around a strange world and dig on some great art, definitely give it a go. Worth the time! If puzzles are your jam, look elsewhere. As of writing this review the store page says Deck compatibility is Unknown. I can confirm it runs perfectly out of the box and I had zero issues.

I love this game! It is an example of how a sequel should be. It does everything that the first game did well and does more. I love the multiple endings, although it is overwhelming to track them all. If there was a poster on the main menu tracking all the options and endings then that would help. If you like visual novels with choices and killer art, this game is for you. Overall rating: 11/10
It's a positive review in advance, buuuuut... Every game from this dev has been incredible. From what I've seen in the demo, this one is on the same level. The art is gorgeous, the atmosphere is there, and the sound is on point. I'll update this review when I finish the game.
Loved it! Tormentum is one of my favorite games and the long wait for the second game was definitely worth it. c: I'm usually not an achievement hunter but I'm planning to get them all, hehe. The game is also surprisingly long, especially since there are also multiple endings that you can get. I'm personally not a big fan of multiple endings but I'll make an exception when it comes to Tormentum, lol. The soundtrack is also great (the German metal song got me by surprise, hehe) and overall the game just looks gorgeous. ^_^
great old style point n click with great places and people to meet as well as the unexpected
Tormentum II is a stunning point-and-click psychological horror. Trapped in a rogue simulation of your own making, the Giger-inspired hand-drawn art is breathtaking. A dark, 10/10 masterpiece!
As a big fan of the first game, I kept hearing about a sequel and finally it has arrived and I really enjoyed it. The art and story style continue the excellence from the first and I enjoy the point & click gameplay. Very Excellent. Recommend.
It's pretty dark. And that's ok. I like where the darkness took me to a point. It's good game play. And I love the artwork.
Constructive Criticism Destroy the paintings in the gallery. Mercy End the agony of the unfinished being.
