Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Czas gry: 8,5 h. Osiągnięcia 62/70 + Grafika + Dużo lokacji i plansz + Muzyka + Długość - Kiepskiej jakości warstwa tekstowa (dialogi, opisy, komentarze bohatera i ten nadmiar wielokropków) - Mało łamigłówek/minigier Ocena: 7/10
Pros - Fantastic artstyle - Great ambiance and atmosphere, really imersive really forboding. - Interesting world and characters - Entirely playable with mouse, including saving and exiting the game Cons - The mouse has this paralax effect which is not my cup of tea. It was the same in the first title. - Very abstract, i still don't really understand the ending. - You can end up with a bad game ending based on choices you make very early on. In the first game I remember a kind of morality system but in this game the choices are more nuanced. Overall its good despite a disapointing ending.

This one is different. In first Tormentum everything let's say had purpose, let's even say made sense. In this one? Everything is so random, random doors, random encounters leading to most random conclusions with random result. Nothing make sense, items spawn from nowhere, to open doors out of nowhere, leading you again, to most random places.........Game is even more beautiful than the first one. But overall...it is pretty mediocre point-and-click where things are happening in most random way just for the sake of something happening.....Still would recommend to all fans of first Tormentum
Amazing just like the original. Fun puzzles.
I'll leave a positive evaluation because I wish there will be a third installment, BUT... there are things to fix... The obvious one: way TOO MUCH TALK!!! FFS... With no animation and no voice acting, it becomes really boring; that cuts the immersion and the rhythm... Other than that, still a huge fan of the art and the music; the global atmosphere is good too (though not as oppressive as the first installment; that's a bit of a shame...). The puzzles are OK. The story is... meh... Nothing really original, a bit confusing from time to time. For that, I really preferred the first game: you had to get out of your prison and... that was it! Imagine yourself what could have happened to your character to find himself in such torments , no need to wrap it in a complicated story... All in all, it was OK, but I really hope the brothers will work on a third entry, without the boring talking, and get straight to the amazing atmosphere they created in their first game.
Wozu so oft?
Amazing journey. It feels so much different from the previous Tormentum, but the deeper you go in, the more twisted and heavy it becomes. The consequences of your choices are not that easy to foresee... even during the second run, so always think twice.
I finished my first playthrough after 6.6 hours. The story is amazing—just like in the first game—and the artwork are truly fantastic. I plan to start over in the next few days and take different paths to see a different ending, especially since I still have a few Steam achievements left to unlock. Like the first game, it’s a masterpiece—provided you enjoy the dark art style and background music, combined with the atmosphere and puzzles. It gets a thumbs-up from me.
