Horrible gameplay, 'hacking' is just silly and a waste of time.
alışması zor hacker oyunlarından bi tanesi, oyun bazı şeyleri sizin çözmenizi bekliyor bu yüzden zorlanmak ve çabuk sıkılmak mümkün gene de idare eder
They Murdered My Favorite Series. Absolute Garbage.
Overall Impression As a massive fan of the original Hacker Evolution games, i was so hyped for this. I thought it would be more of that sweet, sweet typing action. Instead? I got this... point-and-click abomination. Trying to hack the system but only getting endless command screens and a coffee break. Feels like a computer language exam with no diploma and no fun at all. This isnt a hacking sim, its a bad flash game from 2008. The shift from console commands to this GUI-heavy garbage strips away the entire core feeling of actually being a hacker. It’s just repetitive minigames and frantic button-clicking under brutal time pressure. Total waste of money. Gameplay Mechanics Remember how in the old games you had to manage your software, upgrade your cpu, and type out commands? Yeah, they threw all that out the window. Now its just... click nodes. Thats it. You click a red node, then a blue node, then you pray. The hostile AI servers just relentlessly attack you and theres no meaningful way to defend yourself. You just sit there and watch your shields drop to zero. It makes levels feel like pure trial-and-error frustration instead of strategic gameplay. I died on one level 5 times before i realized i just had to click faster. Where is the strategy in that? The "duality" thing they talk about? I think it means dual-monitor setup but it just means double the confusion. The UI is a mess. Everything is hidden behind menus. I liked how the previous games had a simplistic yet organized arrangement where you could see everything. This is just confusing clutter. Graphics and Sound Graphics are okay i guess? But who cares when the gameplay is this bad. The "hacking visuals" are just flashing lights. It lost that cool, clean, matrix-style terminal look. The sound is just generic techno that gets annoying after 10 minutes. Nothing memorable. It feels like they tried to make it look "modern" but just made it look cheap. Bugs and Stability (READ THIS) Oh man, where do i start. This game shipped broken and it still is. I’m talking broken menus, disappearing UI elements so you cant see your own money, and straight up crashes to desktop. I looked it up and people were complaining about these exact same bugs years ago. The devs patched it a few times but never fixed the core issues. Unforgivable. I lost 20 minutes of progress because the game crashed when i captured a server. I almost uninstalled right there. Personal Experience I played the previous Hacker Evolution games and absolute loved the typing concept so i expected that would remain the same. Nope. Extremely disappointed. I sat there for an hour just trying to figure out the new interface. In the old one, i felt like a genius hacker. In this one, i feel like a monkey pressing buttons for a banana. There’s no satisfaction. No "I just bypassed a firewall" moment. Just "ugh, finally, next level." Recommendation Do not buy this. Seriously. If you're looking for a solid hacking sim, do yourself a favor and pick up Uplink or Hacknet instead. Even the first Hacker Evolution is better than this travesty. This isnt a sequel, its a downgrade. A massive middle finger to the fans. I want my money back. [strike]maybe wait for a 99% off sale if you're desperate i guess[/strike] no actually dont even bother.
