Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Foram anos de espera para essa sequência e valeu a pena. É um grande salto na qualidade da história, lore, arte e música, além da gameplay que está ainda mais fluida.
It's a good continuation of the first part! The same mood and art style. Plot as well.
Dobra gierka.

Well... I got a bad ending again, but this time around I don't really know why. What I liked: * There are some real improved compared to the first game. The movement of the camera doesn't feel as shaky. The right mouse button puts an inventory item back into the inventory. There's much more of a story and more characters to talk to. * The atmosphere is once again great. * Insanely beautiful art design. * I can tell that the developers put a lot of love and passion into the game. The design, the music, the puzzles everything felt really thought out. What I didn't like: * I didn't know I would ever really say this, but so far there aren't many puzzles and the ones that are there are very easy. I actually enjoyed the puzzles in the first game. This one feels more like logical point-and-click without too many additional puzzles. * I wished for more story last time, but now I'm craving the simplicity of the previous game. This one is way more convoluted and it's hard to guess what's a good choice and what's a bad one. That concept doesn't exist and this time around the choices are more about what you need to kind of end the game on a good note. * The dialogues are way too long. Too wordy. They could've been more succinct and more clear. All-in-all a bit of opposite day for Tormentum I and II, but both of them get a 7 out of 10 because of their uniqueness. The story of I is much better and the art design of II is even more gorgeous than the original . My rating: 7/10
Something between a point-and-click, interactive novel and walking simulator. The art in this game is fantastic. The content is roughly 6-10 hours depending on if you like to smell the flowers or not. There are no voice overs, but the sheer amount of content and quality of the art/design made it worth it for me, especially since I loved H.R. Giger's work. My only criticisms: Voice acting would greatly help the immersion. Music was very generic, sort of like leveling in Caelid permanently (matches the ambiance though at least). The puzzles are also extremely easy. The story is alright, suggest playing the first one if you want the whole picture, still..... I think this game is worth it at full price.
Mega gutes Spiel, allein der Soundtrack sehr gut. Thx an die Entwickler
I like that this game makes the player aware when they're about to take an action that will have repercussions. Beautiful character designs.
