If you don't know about this game... you're too young for me.
A surprisingly addictive little dungeon crawler
I never considered myself a huge fan of this genre, but Torchlight pulled me in much harder than I expected. The game has a very clean, charming and distinctive visual style that still holds up surprisingly well. It is colorful, readable, and has its own personality instead of trying to look overly realistic. The gameplay loop is simple in the best way possible: go deeper, loot more, improve your build, summon more chaos, repeat. It is very easy to tell yourself “just one more floor” and then suddenly realize you have been playing for hours.
What I liked
• Addictive gameplay Combat, loot and character progression work together really well. • Charming art style The game still looks good because of its stylized visuals. • Freedom in character builds There are only three classes, but you can develop your character in different ways depending on your playstyle. • The Alchemist is fun This is my first playthrough, and for some reason I decided to start on the highest difficulty as the Alchemist. No regrets. Running around while summoning a small army of skeletons is stupidly fun.
The only issue I had
My only real problem is technical. In fullscreen mode I get strange visual artifacts, like flickering black stripes. I assume this is probably because the game is quite old. Because of that, I have to play in a maximized window instead of true fullscreen. But honestly, even that did not stop me from enjoying the game.

Torchlight is cozy, stylish, addictive and easy to recommend. It is not overloaded with unnecessary complexity, but it still gives you that satisfying action-RPG feeling of constant progress. For an older game, it still has a lot of charm.
Niestety, to jedyny plus.
One of the best Diablo clones out there. Torchlight was a nice surprise in this genre that was mostly dominated by Diablo 2 for decades. It plays similarly, in a isometric view but with 3d visuals. The plot is about a magic element called ember that gives magic powers. People coming to harvest it get down in the dungeons and find how the ember also corrupted past civilizations and are now creatures of all kinds. The game is splitted into 35 floors, with zones or regions changing every 4 floors in general. Each region ends with a boss fight that also propels the plot forward. In your town, you get access to shops, magic, equipment, chests to store your loot, etc. An original mechanic, is that you are joined by a pet that can attack enemies, carry equipment, and even sell loot back to town without you having to return to it. There are three selectable classes: a warrior, a wizard and a rogue. Each one have their own skill trees but expect the classical tropes associated with them. Sound and music is adequate enough, not memorable but it works with the atmosphere. It's quite a good game. It's not as wonderful as Diablo II, but if you still have the itch for a similar game, the Torchlight games are probably the best fit.
Fun, casual game.
Fun to play but standard settings are too easy so recommend upping the difficulty. Gets a bit samey after a while but if you're in the mood for a single player WoW experience then this is good for that.
tudo de bom muito agradavel e inteligente
