A solid, unsettling horror experience. The game does a great job of building tension through its disturbing narrative and found-footage atmosphere. While it has some confusing moments with puzzles and lighting, the story hits hard and makes for a genuinely creepy playthrough. Highly recommended for fans of indie horror!

a short, simple and well done horror game both me and my twitch community enjoyed. loved the tension build up, jumpscares were not overdone. The only thing that was a little personal issue for me at the start is the camera sway, I deal with bad motionsickness, but I still managed to get through the game without any major issues. Definitely looking forward to see what else will come out!

[h1][b]「見つけない方が良かった真実がある。―残されたビデオテープが語る、血塗られた『家族の記録』」[/b][/h1] [h1]ストーリー[/h1] 1999年、ある邸宅で発見された一本のビデオテープ。 そこには、何者かが薄暗い家の中を探索する不気味な映像（A面）と、通報を受けて駆けつけた警察官による捜索の記録（B面）が残されていた。 プレイヤーはこの映像の再生を通して、静まり返った家で起きた凄惨な事件の痕跡と、暗闇に潜む狂気を追体験することになる。 [h1]概要[/h1] 2階建ての邸宅を探索する、一人称視点のファウンド・フッテージ風ホラー。 ゲームは発見されたビデオテープの「A面」と「B面」を鑑賞する構成となっている。薄暗い邸内を探索し、随所に残された「ノートの断片」を読み解くことで、この家で過去にどんな出来事があったのかを推理していく謎解き要素が主体のウォーキングシミュレーターとなっている。 [h1]感想[/h1] [b]「生理的な不安を煽る極上の雰囲気。それゆえに陳腐なジャンプスケアが惜しい」[/b] 生活感が生々しく残る邸宅のモデリングと、そこを歩き回るファウンド・フッテージ特有の気味の悪さは非常に素晴らしい。赤ん坊の泣き声、唐突なガラスの割れる音、そしてVHSテープ特有のノイズ音など、プレイヤーの生理的な不安をジワジワと煽る手法は見事の一言だ。ノートの断片を集めるごとに、取り返しのつかない悲劇の輪郭が浮かび上がってくるストーリーテリングも秀逸である。 しかし惜しむらくは、随所に挿入されるジャンプスケアの質だ。 せっかくジメジメとした良質なサイコホラーの空気を構築しているのに、突然お化けが「バァ！」と飛び出してくるようなチープな脅かしが多く、作品のシリアスな雰囲気にフィットしていないと感じる瞬間があった。 とはいえ、そうした弱点に目をつむっても、全体を通してきちんと起承転結のある一本道のホラー作品としてまとまっており、低価格帯のインディーゲームとしては十分にクオリティの高い佳作と言える。 [h1]主人公が遭遇する脅威（ネタバレ）[/h1] [spoiler][b]ママ（狂気の母親）[/b] 探索中に発見されるノートの断片から、この邸宅では「酒に溺れ、精神を病んだ母親が夫を殺害し（屋根裏に隠し）、さらに二人の娘をも手ににかける」という、あまりにも痛ましい一家心中事件が起きていたことが分かる。作中で見つかるノートは、殺された娘の一人が残した悲痛な日記だ。「パパが『もっといい場所』にいるとママが笑った」「すぐに痛くなくなると言われた」という血の凍るような記録が、事件の凄惨さを物語っている。 死してなおこの家に呪縛された母親は、悪霊となって邸内を徘徊している。 テープA面の探索者（主人公）は、娘が残したサインに導かれるように探索を進めるが、結局は母親の手に掛かり殺害されてしまう。そしてテープB面にて、通報を受けて邸内を捜索に来たH.ミラー巡査もまた、2階で一家心中の凄惨な現場を発見した直後、暗闇から現れた母親に捕まってしまう……という、一切の救いがないバッドエンディングがプレイヤーを待ち受けている。[/spoiler] [h1]評価[/h1] 【GOOD】 ・ビデオのA面/B面という構成と、VHSフィルターが醸し出すファウンド・フッテージホラーの没入感。 ・娘の残したノートから、徐々に凄惨な事件の全貌が明かされていくストーリーテリング。 ・生活感のある邸宅の丁寧なモデリングと、生理的嫌悪感を煽る環境音の演出。 【BAD】 ・[b]浮いているジャンプスケア。[/b] 雰囲気が良いだけに、安易で陳腐なビックリ演出が逆に没入感を削いでしまっている。

Die Idee und die Machart im Stil der VHS-Kassette sind ganz geil. Die soundtechnische Zusammensetzung ist auch sehr cool, aber die Sprungschrecken kicken nicht so richtig rein. An sich solides Game für nen 5er. Hatte durchaus Spaß. Die Story ist mal wieder nichts für schwache Nerven und geht plötzlich komplett aus dem Ruder. Keine Ahnung wie von nem Versteckspiel dahin kommt! ehrlich nicht. Chat sagt 2,95/10! Gottlos was der Chat sagt. So schlecht isses nicht! Chat wieder gottlos Kritisch! Ich empfehls trotzdem! So nämlich!

After playing this game I will say the concept is nothing interesting or new. However the ambience and sounds are amazing in this game. There were so many jumpscares that got me so hard I threw my mouse across my table. A genuinely terrifying experience and for 4 pounds is an absolute steal. If you are looking for something that will catch you off guard and make you fear the next jumpscare then this game is for you.

I honestly lost count how many times it got me. Nice atmosphere. Some pretty good jumpscares. All of them got me but i did have my volume to the max (no other way to play horror games). Gameplay is a bit strange but I guess it is like hide and seek after all (you have to seek the object/interaction that will advance the story). Only a couple (insignificant) times where you have to hide. I liked the bathroom number thing.

A decent horror game with some good jump scares! A bit pricy for what you get (compared to other titles in the genre), but overall I enjoyed playing it with my chat! I will say from my experience with similar games, you NEED to give players an option to turn off the VHS filter. It is super ugly and hard on the eyes, and makes it difficult to see whats happening in dark spaces. Additionally, the constant "pitch black screen to sudden bright white static" was SUPER annoying.
