I don't like this game... Wildlands 10/10, Breakpoint 3/10
bro the story is behind a 40€ pay wall wtf
unter linux kaum zum starten zu bekommen
There are quite a few missions that are unique. However once much of that has been accomplished the game is just another....get the gut....destroy the radar...hack the system...... I have enjoyed the game but it won't end, just keeps adding missions that are the same as before.

Very immersive
Wildlands is better
Слишком скучно
It is 1 step forward and 3 steps back in comparison to Ghost Recon Wildlands from a singleplayer perspective. + 'Immersion' mode, was cool concept as you are human you get tired and can get injured. + Drone warfare also a cool concept But the immersion/realism stops there... - UI feels clunky and the interface is a considerable downgrade from Wildlands. - Cash grab: In order to (fully) complete the story you gotta pay more because it's behind their season pass/non-standard editions. Thankfully, you can earn in-game credit required to purchase some weapons, attachments, & more but you know why it's in there and it has nothing to do with immersion. - The lack of attention to detail or realism they gave in designing weapons is pathetic. Not asking for milsim level detail but it's so bad that it was done by someone who knew nothing about firearms and was incapable of doing an internet search, or it was an executive decision to 'improve gameplay,' both are pathetic for the reasons explained below. - Game weapon stats based on type (SMG, LMG, etc) and not real weapon specs (caliber, barrel length, etc). - Some weapons are chambered in the wrong caliber: M82 in game chambered .338 and not .50 BMG. - Incorrect magazine sizes: 1911 extended mag holds 30 rounds in game but shows the real life 15 round mag. - Weapon lasers may not align with your point of aim and bullet impact - Shooting through scopes (200 to 300m+) can show two different points of impact: 1) where the game registers the bullet actually hit and does damage 2) a visual 'spark' of impact (not ricochet) complicating long distance shooting. However, 'sniping' is not realistic and this was an issue in Wildlands too, so idk if the game engine/mechanics/etc don't allow for this next point. - Gameplay distances as a shooter: The average sniping distance in game for me was around 300m - 500m, and this distance is similar to the average engagement distance by military snipers (via a internet search=300 to 600m). For the military snipers their average is based on mission type, supporting role, and yes to increase shot probability. However, it does not reflect their or the weapons capabilities. For example, per weapon spec's the generic 'assault rifles' M4/M16 max effective range is 500-550m, with long distance weapons effective up to 800m (7.62x51) - 1,200m (.338+). Regardless of limitations based on game engine (etc) it seems they tailored the game for engagements under 200m, and even if they do on average you are playing as this elite 'Ghost.' So, why not spend some time on smoothing out this distance imbalance across weapon types to allow for more styles of gameplay or even increase long distance options? - Weapon leveling is optional, but even turned off you can upgrade your gun tiers and need parts which are easy enough to get. The overall improvement is minimal in gameplay and why is this an option and not integrated into attachments: want more damage for say an AR-style gun? make it an option to change the upper receiver or at least barrel to a bigger caliber round. I was hoping Breakpoint would be slightly better in gameplay than Wildlands, and it was not on any metric for me. Overall, they reduced your ability to, "Find the best tactic to take down your foes, by piloting drones, attacking and infiltrating enemy bases, and navigating the island's diverse terrain." Coming from the expectations of Wildlands I cannot give Breakpoint a positive review, but the game is an okay looter shooter to get on sale for those not not bothered by its selective design in representing a military shooter.
