i won this in a giveway and i regret participating, even if this game was free i would never get it. the game is just very very awful.
This game comes with a game launch bug that requires some time to be fixed. After that, you will be able to play this beauty of a game. Tokyo Hosto is a short parody game that is about a life of a Host. It is hilariously bad that makes the game good. This game is not intended to be taken seriously and it does have a slight charm to it. Recommended..if you want a quick laugh.

★★✯☆☆ This is a very short little VN game, I guess I had fun with this, It kept me playing even to the … “ending” … I am not quite well versed with VN games but I enjoyed this one and the fact that it didn’t have achievements was a selling point to me, as the games tend to have multiple outcomes all with their own achievements, making your achievements % drop quite badly, unless if you plan to play through every scenario. PS the game just took me half an hour to play through so who knows I might have gotten a rotten/quick ending, oh and the game is fully voiced in English. Anyways, would recommend for a quick little game to play to scratch that itch. 2.5/5.
This game is too short to justify a 5$/€ pricetagg The devs bugged the game on release so that only 1 out of 2 possible endings are available claimed to fix it 2015 but never did. The game actually made me laugh quite hard at stages.. but its simply no 5$ game. It never gets discounted.. it only was discounted 50% once in 2015.. so nope If in theory it was 90% off I'd recommend it. Playtime: ~15 minutes a run, i did 3 in 35 minutes (to try out all possibilities + see wether the 2nd ending that is supposed to rotate was working, it wasnt) I got it in a bundle.. it was well worth a laugh
"Turns out you were actually a dog having a dream". This 15 minute VN is so ludicrously bad that I was actually compelled to keep playing to see what horrendous bit of voice acting or narration would happen next. Of course that's after setting compatibility mode to Windows XP to actually make the game start. You have no mouse support, no saving, no configuration, just the enter key and the arrow keys to claw your way to the end of this embarassing adventure. There are few games I play where I can honestly point to it and say "Yes, I could make a better game" but this is one of those times.
Direttamente dalla mia lista dei titoli sconosciuti vi presento Tokyo Hosto! Si lascia giocare o meglio leggere senza cervello... i disegni e il parlato sono niente di speciale... per soli 30 minuti di "gioco"... fate vobis...
I have bought a lot of game bundles, and while every now and then there's a true diamond in the rough, the majority of bundle games are truly terrible. It takes a truly extraordinary game to stand out amongst these thousands of terrible games and prove that they possibly one of the worst games ever made. Tokyo Hosto is without doubt a contender in this battle to be worst of all. * Graphics: Beyond terrible... hand drawn characters all badly in need of plastic surgery. Reminds me of the awful drawing in Napoleon Dynamite, only not as good. * Voice acting: On par with the artwork (terrible). * Gameplay: It's a visual novel so you just click a couple of different options, pick the wrong one and you lose. So no real gameplay at all. Apparently it's just about 10 minutes of gameplay anyway, but I couldn't handle the badness to stick around. * Technical: Doesn't even run in fullscreen that I could tell. I was ok with it being windowed, because then there was less of it. This is like the developer researched every aspect of terrible games and implemented them. If I had to give this a rating it would be around -45,298/10. Playing this game for any more than 5 minutes may give you cancer. The developer wants $5 for this.
I don't even remember anymore how I got my hands on this game, but.. I do remember that I had quite a bit of fun with it, despite it being an obvious mess. On top of that, it's most definitely overpriced. 5€?? Cut it down by 3€ and I would say it's worth it. You only get around 30mins of playtime and the game isn't exactly a high quality play. With the art, story and characters as well as voices and everything else.. being all over the place. It's a bit of random fun, but that's about it.
I see....lets visit host cafe.
it is a really funny game and worth around 1 dollar, why? it's really short, really bad art/voice acting etc but it has some humor and the end is the best plot twist ive seen in a while. still, its to expensive thats why i don't recommend it because of the price. but still, you can play the game to the end in less than 1 hour, you can beat the game and refund. worth the try
