To the Stars

It is a nice, mostly chill strategic game to play that I enjoyed my time with, that's why I recommend it. I completed it 100% at 31 hours in, but if you're not a completionist be aware that it gets quite same-y after just a few hours of gameplay.

Sigh… this game is really fun. The different factions each make an interesting spin on gameplay. Dunno what more I can say…

This isn't worth £13. I suggest playing a free game called Relentless Expanse instead, it's right here on Steam.

I gets repetitive very quickly and is far too easy. I actually got bored after 1 hour and faced not even the slightest challenge. had no ambitions to "idle play" until some challenge appears after finishing two galaxies and also unlocking another race. Still positive review as I really like the concept and could refund it. Would have kept it if the price point was ore in the 5-7 EUR range.

I enjoyed it a lot so far, clever and super polished

I played this game on various events and liked it really much. Now the first impression of the full release is even greater. I love the juicy UI and the lovely designed characters and planets. The gameplay can get quite overwhelmingly in a very positive way. definitively a recommendation to play and definitively I will play until I get the cool Lizard guy!

Un juego de estrategia de partidas rápidas, rollete desenfadado, reglas sencillas y planificación intuitiva. Ideal para desestresarse un rato y echarse una partida de algo que requiera pensar pero sin romperse la cabeza (es decir, para dumb-dumbs como moi).

Das positive zuerst: Es sieht toll aus. Der "Game Juice" ist voll da. Die Stories der einzelnen Fraktionen sind auch unterhaltsam geschrieben. Leider ist das Balancing etwas off. Rohe Stats haben zu viel Einfluss gegenüber der Taktik, denn schwierig wird es eigentlich nur, wenn man konstant die schlechtesten Upgrades wählt oder sich andere Challenges selbst stellt, wie z.B. keine Pause zu verwenden. Hier könnte das Spiel z.B. mehre Schwierigkeitsgrade anbieten, statt es dem Spieler zu überlassen. Das würde den Wiederspielwert erhöhen. Das Spiel leidet auch darunter, dass es keinen Multiplayer gibt. Der Singleplayer wird nämlich ziemlich schnell repetitiv bzw. nutzt sich ab, auch wenn man neue Fraktionen freischaltet, diese fühlen sich insgesamt zu ähnlich an. Also in seinem aktuellen Zustand, kann ich To the Stars nur Leuten empfehlen, die schöne Spiele mögen. Das Potenzial ist aber auf jeden Fall vorhanden und ein paar Balance Patches sowie vllt ein (lokaler) Multiplayer könnten das Spiel nochmal auf ein anderes Level heben.
