Swarm Queen

The game is functional at its core. There's a soft rock-paper-scissors dynamic between the three main unit types (melee, ranged, flying), but each unit has its own niche, which is good design for an RTS. Overall, for a cheap price, you get your money's worth of entertainment. There's nothing really special about the alien swarm aesthetic. This could be any old military-themed tug-of-war game where you produce units from your base/factory, and it would function just as well. However, you're getting a downvote just for that last level. Just because you're all self-aware and meta doesn't make the level any less obnoxious and irritating. Thank god I cleared it on the first try, because I can't imagine sitting through that whole intro again.

Just finished swarm queen and I actually liked it more than I expected. It looks really simple at first, but there's a lot of strategy once you get into it. You don't control your units directly, so it's all about making the right choices and timing things well. Some levels were pretty challenging and took a few tries, but it felt good when it finally worked. It does get a bi repetitive after a while, and i wish there was more game content , but overeall i think its a pretty strong game. 9/10!

Recomendo? sim pelo preço e o quanto de conteudo divertido que tem, esse jogo vale bem apena comprar se você é fã de jogos de estrategia, me lembra tambem muito os "age of war" antigos de flash, entao se você gostava deles e ainda gosta eu recomendo esse jogo como um gosto familiar daquilo.

I remember when I was a wee lad watching Baron von games play swarm queen on my tv with my family. this was one of the first games I ever bought when I got my pc, and now finding it buried in my steam library I get al those memories flooding back. it's always the simple games that take the crown.
