About

Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.

Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny.

With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.
And Johnny's last wish is, of course... to go to the moon.

Amazing Game, the story is great, the characters are great, there's just this whole cozy and emotional vibe a out it. So good.
A great work often features a tightly‑knit plot with echoes across its narrative, continuously recurring foreshadowing and details, a simple yet timeless story, and well‑timed, deeply moving music. To the Moon is exactly such a work — one that lingers long in the memory. From disjointed clues and memories seemingly unrelated to the moon, all the way to the fated first encounter and the flight toward the moon in the finale. Every transition and twist, every surprise that still feels logical, shows how masterfully the game controls its narrative pace. The room filled with paper‑folded rabbits, the little cabin by the lighthouse, the ever‑present platypus plushie, the patched schoolbag, along with For River or To the Moon. Much like the melody John wrote for River, the game circles back to these few familiar notes, telling a story that never grows stale despite its recurring motifs. To me, this is a work about love, about promises and pacts, growth and wishes. Perhaps it also speaks to our hopes for dreams and for life itself.
