The Numbers Game is a fast-paced card game where you race the computer (or play with a friend) to empty your Player Stack by playing numbered cards onto shared InPlay stacks in sequence. Every card you play is one your opponent can build on next, so pick your plays carefully. Based on a popular card game, this implementation adds four unique variants with added features and challenges. • Classic - the original game, played sequentially from 1 to 10 (or higher) • Up/Down - Played sequentially but either Up (from 1 to 10) of Down (from 10 to 1); player may switch direction at any time during his turn • Wild Thing - An extended version of Classic in which players may "capture" a wild card when it is the top card on an InPlay stack by matching it with a card from their hand. This adds a bit of extra excitement to the game along with the need for strategic planning. • Cheat - An extended version of Classic in which a deck of "Cheat" cards is added to the game. Players may, if they choose, draw a card from this deck at any time during their turn, but only once per turn. The cheat cards are as follows: • Steal - Allows the player to Steal any exposed card from his opponent • Caught Stealing - Blocks an attempt to steal one of your cards and ends the opponents turn • Add a Card - Automatically adds a card to the opponents deck. This comes in handy when your opponent is close to winning the game. * Swap Cards - Swap the top card from your deck with youR opponent. Use this card when it's to your advantage. • No Action - As the name suggests there is nothing to be gained by drawing this card, except that ... Every time you choose to draw a cheat card, there is a penalty: a card is added to your own deck. So use this feature judicially ! Use the Settings menu to choose your game variant, pick a difficulty, and outmaneuver a computer opponent or hand the device to a friend for two-player play.
