Welcome to Titanium Court! Table for one? You have a reservation I assume? You don’t!? Ah, I see. Just minding your own business before stumbling into a realm of magic and faeries, were you? Not to worry, happens all the time. Tell you what, why don’t I see if we can squeeze you in somewhere while you become acquainted with the many amenities offered by the Court.

Puzzling Battles: For tonight's entertainment, the Court is at WAR! Just a little something to pass the time, you see. Who's in command? Why do you ask? Are you volunteering? Oh don't worry, you won't be issuing orders to these faerie troops. They wouldn't follow them anyways. I think you'll have more success commanding the terrain itself to fall in your favor, haha.
Puzzling Narrative: Lore dumps are strictly against my religion I'm afraid, so you'll have to uncover the secrets of the Court yourself. Some of them may even fundamentally change you as a person. Be careful with those!
Diverse and fulfilling career options: Warlord, Arsonist, Celebrity, Insurance Fraudster. Your time within the Court will qualify you for many of these exalted and lucrative positions.

I thought I had my fill of surreal games, but Titanium Court managed to subvert my expectations. It's both surreal and bizarre in ways I couldn't anticipate. Going in blind is strongly recommended, but there are some details worth noting: * The overall pacing is slow and involves a lot of reading. This is probably the reason for half of the negative reviews. * There's no explicit difficulty setting, but there are choices to make the game easier or harder. But it takes some time to fully increase or reduce the difficulty. * It's likely by design, but you may miss the "point of no return" warning and unable to fully explore the world. * Both the music and visuals are strangely charming. I certainly didn't expect I could [spoiler]skip boss battles to listen to the developer's live performance[/spoiler].
At the risk of sounding pretentious, I can't help but feel there's a staggering number of reviews (both positive and negative) that missed both the point and The Point of Titanium Court. I can only think its a testament to how well the game is made and how strong AP Thomson's Vision is that it can enjoyed equally by the unwashed masses (who, when confronted with one of the strongest narratives in recent memory, respond by leaving reviews speaking solely of game mechanics) and the navel-gazey pseudo-intellectuals that assign far too much meaning to video game narratives (me!). Titanium Court is a masterfully made game with a real heart and message laying underneath all the wacky antics. Don't play it.

One of a kind, clever absurdist indie gem. Fantastic humor, music, strategy, and aesthetic. ((TO AP THOMSON: I'm begging you, please let us continue a save file after rolling credits! If I'd known the point-of-no-return warning meant my save file would be locked I never would've done so. Let me keep playing your wonderful game without starting over!))
I'm... not sure if I like this game? The humor is hit-or-miss, and the match-tree-RTS gameplay is okay. After 5 hours I got to an ending, and I'm not planning to pick up the game ever again. But I'm really interested in talking ABOUT this game to other people, so I guess I would recommend you to play it!
