Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Yuh, fun.

this game is EPIC. somehow it's cheesy and i still feel like a badass. it's surprisingly cozy too, you can beat ♥♥♥♥ up and never feel bad about it. as a grown adult, this is a 10/10 bedtime story

I thought it was going to be D&D. It is in the sense of a fantasy story, but its also straight up Borderlands. its dope

I've tried this game 3 or 4 times now, and fell off each time. Even with Redux, it's still got the air of gender pronoun propaganda around it. It smells like pachouli and plays like someone lobotomized a copy of Borderlands 3 and sat it down with a square, circle and triangle puzzle, and the gameplay is you listening to it while it struggles to figure out where to put the square block.

the only BL game I have yet to finish.

I've played Borderlands 2 and 3 before playing Wonderlands. I mostly liked the borderlands games because of the gunplay and character interactions. I am also playing dnd on and off. I did buy this game on a steep discount, because i was sceptical about the setting switch. But i have to admit, that this setting of a dnd campaign fits the borderlands formula way more than the space scifi setting. The wimsical funny interactions with stupid characters are so much more fitting, if you see the whole game as the fantasy of tina. All the senseless real life references just work better if you see the correlations between a real dnd campaign you played and the one you are experiencing in the game. The gunplay and minor characters are still fantastic and with the new setting and the better structured story this game is the best borderlands-like game ive played so far. Hard recommend.
